Next Monday, how many will turn down the MNF announcers?

I am interested to see who introduces the starting lineups. I think that is the dumbest thing ever when some stupid player says "our big defensive stud Joe the big dog hard hitter Smith".

 

I thought about this too but I'll be listening to the TV. It stinks because the earlier game gets NBC and John Madden which is a much better broadcasting crew.

 

We'll miss 2 plays while they interview some actor selling a movie. I'll have the radio on.

 

I like Tirico, but Theismann is awful and Kornheiser just isn't suited to game broadcasting, although he is a great columnist.

 

Ehhhh, i dont know. I dont mind these guys so much, so i'll definitely have it on. To me it doesnt matter who is selling the game to me as long as the Jets fry the fish.

 

Just as a side note because it doesn't need its own thread the spread on this game is already Jets (+2.5)

 

You cannot complain about ANY commentators if their name is not Gumbel. These guys look like the best commentators ever compared to Gumbel.

I don't mind Tirico,but thiesmann is a jackass. Kornhole isn't all that bad,but he'd be better off writing about the game after it's over

 

Kornheiser is very good at Around the Horn and that type of thing but he is not great at play by play....

 

Tirico's pretty solid, and Kornheiser has a few good lines. Theismann is awful, though. The worst part isn't going to be the announcers, it will be the endless self-promotion for the network and anyone involved with it.

And with Ronnie Brown coming back they might be favored even more. I like the underdog role.

 

For me, they're pretty bad, but at least it's not on NFL Network!

 

I can't stand this MNF crew. Kornheiser is the worst - he hardly even knows the game it seems. And when he tells us about his fantasy football team all night ... stfu dude! Don't even get me started on the filthy interview segment.

man i miss Michaels and Madden.

 

I wonder who that will be. Probably someone who is either from NY or Miami.

Watching Monday's game will be painful. Not just the crew but all the BS they pack in. Sideline interviews and meaningless stats. They'll be throwing in clips of Chad Xmas shopping. It's gonna be a long night.

 

Coles will introduce our offense and Vilma will do our defense and it will be done with class
