He was great in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015. Injured in 2012, not sure about 2013, complete trash in 2016.

Not sure that is worthy of an all-decade selection.

who would you put over him? He wasn’t only great those years. He was all-time great.

yeah. The issue is there is no other dominant CB to put over Revis during the other years. I feel it’s warranted.

You left out 2009 (the year he became a 1st time and First-team All-Pro as a 3rd year player).

During their prime years no coverage CB ever played the position quite like Revis; as he followed every #1 CB one on one on an island and with no safety help.

Not even Deon Sanders played the position like Revis did as Dallas would mostly put Primetime on opposing #2 CB's while rolling coverage with safety help against the #1 WR's.

That is what makes Revis of his prime the greatest one on one coverage corner of All-Time (and he studied WR's pre-snap better then anyone, ever).

The homage to Revis 2009 is well-deserved, but you should read the thread title again.

    Wrong decade.

I know Revis was the best corner arguably ever for a 4-5 year stretch.

Maybe Chris Harris or Aqib Talib, although you make a good point there aren't many great options. CBs fall off a cliff fast.

Just a shame he mailed it in for us the second time.

Yep. And I know Easter is coming up, but there will be no resurrection.

I absolutely loved him during his early years, hated the holdout before 2010, and then came to really dislike the money-grubber. His last season for us was disgraceful on an epic scale.

Nick Mangold got robbed by a couple jabronis. Similarly to Revis though he probably only had a 5 year period as well.

Aqib Talib not because he's better but Revis didn't have a FULL dominate decade. Wasn't good after 2015 and was hurt in 2012.

    Im also reaching hardcore.

Can someone please re-post that video of those two turds harrassing him and then getting clocked? Turned out Revis didn't knock them out, but in this age of look at me!, sure, I'll look at it again just to see some idiot taking an asphalt nap.

Here's the thing with Revis. Why don't the majority of Jets fans - at least in my experience - hold Woody the rube along with Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum just as responsible for enabling that greedy son of a bitch to rob them blind? Nobody held a gun to their heads.

No-one may be enamored of the way Revis and Uncle Sean did business, but the NFL is a meat grinder and doesn't give a shit about anybody. One thing that Darrelle Revis can't be accused of with all of his me me me and then there's always me is being stupid. As if anyone on here would be a bastion of selfless virtue in the same circumstance, lol. What I'm really saying here is who can really blame the guy at the end of the day all things considered? Like being a cripple. Or a cripple with dementia.

Not as good as Revis but arguably the most consistent and best from 2010 has to be Patrick Peterson. Clearly in decline but still good. Pretty consistently great from 2011 through 2016.
