Screw Cleo Lemon, I'd much rather Harrington start. We know Harrington is probably the worst starting QB in football, Lemon still has the unknown factor.. Either way Jets will win the game if they take care of the ball, no costly turnovers like the Buff game & they'll win easy..
I'll take this kind of drama any day instead of the big brown terd that was last season for the jets. How awesome would it be if the Jets pull it out next week coupled with a few key losses?
The fact is we aren't a very good football team right now, and certainly not a great one. It's hard to stay up for all 16 games in the NFL, I don't think any NFL team does that. The great teams still manage to pull out wins against teams they should beat usually, but a team like us, we can't do that. That will change in the future as we get more players and the coaching staff gets more experience. That being said, we NEED the next two, and there is really no excuse to not be up for a game the rest of the way out. We can still very well lose the next two, but hopefully it is not from lack of motivation/trying.
All this negative crap is awful, some guys lay awake nights thinking of all the bad things that can happen. Now Chad gets ripped apart before the game even starts. He was wonderful yesterday, we won the game. Then the doom and gloom guys say, Well he didn't play perfectly in the second half, Hey how many Q,Bs play a perfect game every week? Grow up, stop the doom and gloom stuff, Chad is the best we got. Besides there are eleven players on the field, not just one. Allentown Ernie.
Ya know, in all fairness I told her to get you good seats to one of my games. She did it for you dude. For you.
Alot of the fans on this site suck. Why be a fan if you hate the Jets so much? Find a better hobby to not enjoy. God bless us everyone!
The Dolphins have a old, but good front 7. Their secondary sucks, so if Chad has time he should hit Coles and Cotch. Lets hope Coles can get out there, we need him.
It never works to go max protect and send just a receiver or two out in the pattern. I absolutely don't understand what coaches are doing when they keep an extra blocker or two (beyond the normal 6) in to protect the QB. It's not like he's going to complete anything to two double-covered receivers, all it does is let him throw the ball away in peace.
Yeah that is true. Too many fans though, including some true ones, think negative. You need to think positive. Like after the fumble/TD the game thread went nuts. Season over, game over, Chad sucks, etc. When it wasn't his fault and we had time to comeback. Instead of coming back we blew them out though, which was nice.
I didn't mean it literally like that, just that I doubt we'll see him throwing it up 40 times like we did this week.
Just remember that Chad has a lot of games these days when he sucks. That's what's fueling the Chad sucks arguments. When he's good he's good but when he's bad he...
This team is an up and down team, its hard to stay consistent with emotion. The only time I really got excited and thought we had a legitimate playoff chance and were becoming a good team was after the Packer game. That worked out well. I can understand the mentality of always thinking positive for your team, but I can never understand people saying "Anyone who spends this week thinking about ways the Jets can lose, or why they might lose is not a real fan. Period". That's just complete bullshit and fans like that can kiss my pessimistic ass.
You do have a pessimistic ass, I agree. Alot of fans think of ways the Jets can lose I am sure. I do it occasionally. You can't help it.
I see this game coming down to Chad and turnovers as well. I don't see this Dolphins offense matching up well with what we do. We have improved dramatically on defense since our last meeting and even if they do get Ronnie back for this game he'll most likely be nursing a cast, so you can conceivably say their offense, while it may not have regressed since our last meeting, it certainly hasn't improved. So long as Chad takes care of the ball we should stroll into the playoffs after we totally humiliate the rudderless Raiders.
