I didn't know that. Had to fact check for myself.

5 receptions for 87 receiving yards and 0 TD receptions @ Jacksonville.

3 receptions for 70 receiving yards and 1 TD reception vs. Indianapolis.

    5 receptions for 113 receiving yard's and 3 TD receptions @ Detroit.

7 receptions for 102 receiving yards and 0 TD receptions vs Houston.

5 receptions for 134 receiving yards and 1 TD reception vs. Atlanta.

And I've learned from the Robby Anderson thread, he also put up really good "catch rates" lol

In all seriousness thank you as I had no idea he closed out the season like this and what I like a lot is that he ended the season with 3 consecutive 100+ yard games which can make anyone even Anderson fans feel a lot better about Robby's departure before being excited for the draft and I've always been a sucker for speed @ WR & CB and he's Olympic Deon Sanders Florida State type straight line speed.

I was looking at Perriman highlight film and I didn't see alot of separation like we saw in Robbie games. All his catches the cornerback was right on him. Now was it just Jamesis Winston threading a needle. Maybe Darnold and Gase can get him some room to run.

Awesome. My preference anyways! Now moving on to the next FA signing, veteran DE, 1 year signing.

    how much cap space left?

    Joe Is solid.

Focus on speed in draft, and last minute backups

The main thing i like about Perriman I can't lie is what I most liked about Anderson. Blazing speed. Track star type of a speed demon. Outside deep threat. Can take the top off a defense. And still younger.

This makes Jeudy intriguing more than Lamb to me @ 11. A great route runner opposite a speed burner which is exactly what I wanted with Jeudy/Anderson and exactly what I posted immediately after Robby to Carolina.

JD gives us even more reason to trust and believe during his 1st off-season. Not because he lost Robby but had himself a backup plan. I never once blamed JD for Anderson I immediately called for this kid.

It's a deep draft for WR apparently, we can get a good one in round 2. Meanwhile we have XFL calibre Offensive Tackles right now, we desperately need to take an OT at 11 if one of the top 4 are there imo.

    I

I would have rather kept Robbie. Guys that can stretch the field haven't been around here much since Wesley Walker. I always hope to keep homegrown talent because the chemistry was already there. But in Douglas we believe.

I think the Jets take 2 WR in the first 3 rounds of the draft. If they let Perriman walk after this season then they'll be right back here. Take two hope at least on makes an immediate impact and give yourself some cover next year.

the chemistry is the only thing I prefer with Robby. Other than that I am completely on board with replacing him with Perriman.

Perriman suffered from being raw and coming from a strictly vertical passing game at UCF combined with injuries that hampered his career early on. He also didn't really get developed when he was with the Ravens because he was just supposed to be a plug and play replacement for Torrey Smith. Run fly routes, son, and let Joe throw you the ball when he throws you the ball.

He looked like he worked on his game a lot, based on flashes he showed down the stretch with ol' crab legs. He ran a developed route tree out of necessity when he was thrust into being the number one guy. But he looked solid doing it. I had Sunday Ticket and watched the Buccs a fair amount since I had Godwin and Ronald Jones on my fantasy team. Perriman looked particularly good navigating the sidelines on out routes, deep comebacks and flag routes.

He also is a lot more well filled out and strong at the point of catch through defensive back contact than Robby Anderson is.

I'm excited about the signing. I kind of wish we grabbed him for two years so we could retain him if he had a good year at an affordable price.

Darnold doesn't play that much differently than Winston. You have to hope that he doesn't get his turnover tendencies but they both navigate the pocket awkwardly but effectively and throw from strange arm angles pretty well. So it's a good fit from the standpoint of a guy that is used to running around when plays break down.

On paper are tackles were better last year. Beachum was by far our best OL last and much more of a sure thing than Fant. Shell was much better than Edoga. But, Fant suits our system better and hopefully Edoga improves.

I'm just going with what seems to be the general consensus (no particular order): Becton, Wirfs, Wills, Thomas.
