So half the money of Robby for the same skill set and at the end of last year, the same production. I like it.

Get ready for DWC's 8 paragraph post on how great Perriman is.

Should probably still sign Demerius Thomas to a cheap one for when Enunwa gets hurt.

Then draft OT in Round 1, WR Round 2.

    Awesome signing!

Much better than giving Anderson $10 million a year.

Not only does JD seem to have a plan, he has a backup plan too. I'm liking him more and more. Build a foundation first, piece by piece, even if there is no "big splash" signing.

Perriman in the final 5 games of the season last year:

    25 catches
    506 yards
    5 TD

    I'll take it!

Great value here by Douglas. You're getting similar production for half the price.

He went crazy late last year with Evans and Godwin getting hurt

I remember watching him because of fantasy football and thinking that he looked like a really good player

Joe D is on top of things. I think we finally have a good GM. He saw the WR market moving and he pounced grabbing a need...and one I like

JD is looking pretty good. Moves and non-moves seem to be working out.

Agreed but I don't think this was necessarily a "backup plan".

I think Douglas told Anderson we are only giving you $7-8 million. When Anderson signaled he wanted more, Douglas held firm and continued his build. I guess you could call it a backup plan considering Anderson didn't take our offer, but I think Douglas knew that going into it. Perriman might have been on his radar from the beginning

I like this move a lot. Similar production. The guy is actually younger than Robby and comes at a reasonable price. Grab a Jeudy or Lamb and we'll have a decent group.

Sadly, I expect nothing from Enunwa.

Also for the record, Perriman dropped 1 pass of the 90 thrown at him in 2019.

    Impressive.

    Well, for what's it's worth...

However I rarely watch any TB Buccaneer games as they usually play @ 1:00 along with our Jets, so I don't really know too much about this kid in order to post paragraphs other than the fact that he's blazing fast (even faster than my boy Robby) and ran a 4.24 & 4.27 40 during the combine so I believe it's safe to say that he's our new speed burning deep threat heading into the draft.

I don’t know grandpa. I am liking this JD guy. Can I leave the “Show Me” prerequisite behind and jump on the bandwagon?

Exactly what I wanted. He’s a bigger, stronger, faster Robby who hasn’t really broken into the starting lineup. End of last season he made some plays, perhaps indicating he’s ready to step into a starting role?
