I'm leaving my gear home man. Just coming down to see some old friends, check out Sea World and chill for a few days. I will be taking rides in and around Orlando looking for sporting goods stores and coastlines. Might make a second trip that way this year. Not sure yet.
It's about an hour from the coast.... could do an inshore fishing day for Redfish and trout around New Smyrna in the north end of Mosquito Lagoon (dont fish the south end by Titusville)..... I'd venture to say Tackle Direct prob has better fishing stuff than BassPro these days
I guess..... considering I'll be doing the CAD drawings.... now I just need a boat I do work at a local surf shop 1 day a week for a nice employee discount though
Yeah, I took drafting classes in high school... strongly considered being an architect...... then the 18 year old partier in me decided to choose Graphic Design Never used CAD until the other day... my buddy's been asking me to join him for awhile, but I've been saying no as I had better gigs going on. Not really getting paid much, but I'm working from home and literally learning on the fly..... and it's stuff for boats so that makes it better. Business is blowin up, so we'll see where this goes.
HA... I wish it was boats. I'm not that smart It's custom installs for SeaDek traction/decking.... check it out. Stuff is pretty cool My friends dad is an engineer for Edgewater boats... and has also helped design Boston Whalers
Nice Center Console. Looks perfect for the GoM and the Keys. How much for that baby? Oh yeah, very impressed with the Tampa area. Seriously looking at it for a retirement landing spot.
Yep. Not sure.... definitely not cheap, but those Key Wests are one of the better "bang for the buck" boats IMO. Key West, Scout, Sea Pro and Sea Hunt... Plenty of nicer boats out there, but some have pretty silly price tags. a "Bay Boat" is pretty versatile for that area (and up here) I was actually in the Bradenton area last week for this new gig. Nice place, a little "busy" & not enough surf for me , but the fishing's good....
Got several trips planned and scheduled for 2020.. Late August for Golden Tiles and early December for off shore Sea Bass off Block Island, RI.
Hopefully putting blood in the fish box on sunday..... no viruses 50 miles offshore.... as long as my buddy hasnt picked one up doing charters this week
No boats fishing out of Jersey until April 1st at the earliest. Looks like I'll be dusting off my sweetwater gear for some lake fishing in 2020.
Fished hard... to no prevail..... everything from jigging to hi-speed trolling out to the ledge and bottom fishing...... so much for stocking the freezer for the impending shutdown. I'm cooking some $50/lb cobia rt now
Took the kayak out in skinny waters this morn.... I think the fish caught the virus. and I apparently lost a $40 net
