Didn't see we signed Kenneth Dixon. That's cool. I always thought he had more potential than he amounted to. Big slow back in the LA Tech mold but he can beat some defenses up.
Forgot about Josh Adams too. I liked him in Philly, he could be a nice piece in a rotation. Hopefully Gase figures it out this year after he blew it so badly last year.
After the way FA has gone I’d like a return for Robby, maybe even on a 1 year, a guy like Ronald Darby on a 1 year, and an edge. I like the idea of Robby on another prove it contract, keep him motivated.
I actually like the roster a little more than you'd think. Expect 4 rookies to be starters this year too. Sign a WR/CB/Pass rusher in Free Agency. Potentially still release some players like Winters and Enunwa. I still want a solid back-up QB behind Sam too. The roster will be good enough to compete.
I just wouldn’t hold out hope. He has such a physical play style, I’m not sure he can stay healthy even if he gets back. Also, he may be afraid to play that physical style after so many injuries.
I agree, it is just so risky. For both sides. Risky for Enunwa's future health to risk another neck injury, and risky for the Jets to depend on him to be a #2 WR. In a perfect world, he would be healthy and definitely could be a game changer. I think he should retire, but we will see.
I’m surprised we haven’t cut a few guys already. Josh and Brian being the two I would def cut and bring in other guys
No reason to rush. Sign who you want and then make the cuts after. Don’t throw away potential trade bait, even if all you get back are 7th rounders.
