Anyone else super excited about this? I can't wait for Deion Sanders to walk out to deathly silence.

I'm hoping this is a repeat of the old days with a few bald dudes in a room monotonally announcing their franchise QB pick.

At least we won't have to see/hear Jets fans booing and moaning at the pick.

Maybe the draft won't have to be 4 hours long for commercial money and we can just get the picks in. I'll still watch. There is still drama, we don't need the long breaks with absolutely nothing to talk about in between the picks.

Cameras in every team war room. Cut to the team otc for every pick. If they make a call split screen to the team they are calling.
    best draft ever

    I would love that.

At least we have draft to look forward to. Poor MLB, NBA and NHL fans. Lol

What if each team Skyped a handful of their most ardent fans to get their reactions? Let's get our nominations in; how about Vilma, DWC, NCJet, Champ and Broadway Sam? He'd be great, especially if he's still out on the ledge.

The NFL should make the back libraries of NFL games available online for free for the duration of the lockdowns.

I really enjoyed watching the Jets-Fins game from '86 that somebody posted in the Klecko thread. There are many others I'd like to rewatch at this point as well.

Absolutely. They could make Thursday Night Football watchable for the first time ever by running the entire catalog of Super Bowls. Add in Sunday night and Monday night and we could see three a week for the next four months.

NFL GamePass is free at the moment if you want it. I doubt there’s anything on there older than the past few seasons though.

I'd skip the first few weeks, but yeah that was a lot of fun to watch after game 6 or so. Chad put on the best show since Vinny in '98.

So how does the lack of pro days effect the draft?

Hurts those who didn’t workout at the combine, Tua becomes a very interesting case also. No medical rechecks will drop a few players down a round or two.

Schefty had an interesting suggestion today.
Do a round a night for a full week of the draft .
    Thoughts?

Hard to say what the situation is gonna be like a month from now. If the draft were now it'd be perfect.
But yeah if everything is still shut down and everyone is still home then yeah whatever works. Do one draft pick an hour what else do we have to do??
I feel like we're in the twilight zone with the guy who sits on his glasses

Roger Goodell finally gets to have a draft where he isn't booed.

That would be both ridiculous and awful. Do they really think that people are going to be that interested in any picks after the 4th or 5th round? A round a night is insane imo. It doesn't need to take that long, and there is only so much hype, filler and commericals one can stand. I think they're getting too greedy or too full of themselves!
