Get Thuney and another name we don't talk about is Andrus Peat. I am OK with not getting Conklin.

Peat made me worried when he was getting beaten like a drum vs. The Vikings. He hurt his value in the playoffs even though the Vikings move Danielle Hunter and their other end inside to rush.

He could get solidly less than he would've before that game.

We need one of them. I don't care which one. Both will make the players around them better

Still hoping JD's plan is bargain hunt for decent quality but enough quantity to fill our many holes and need for depth.

last year we went flashy and it showed the risk of big, concentrated FA investments. Diversify

what are the odds a guy like Conklin or Robby will outperform their contract (which is how you win in a capped league) if they're paid 15 mill or so? Sure they're better than what we have at the moment but it's a sucker's bet. You're painting yourself in a corner. We need players who will exceed their contract

He wasn't healthy, as he was recovering from a broken arm. He was very good prior to that, very versatile lineman that can move in space. Durability is a concern, but he's got upside.

The Pats just fucked us over big time. That's really really bad

    Cooper and Conklin :)

    Draft OT at 11.

    Lets go.

Not surprised at all. Top players usually don't hit the open market.

Not really interested in Cooper at the $20 million price tag. He's an inconsistent player. He disappears from games like I honestly never thought he would coming out of college.

I don’t know how many here are thinking like me, but I am preparing for the disappointment. From many reports Joe Douglas is not willing to overpay players, which is a good and bad thing. I think we’re seeing (as we see every year), that good talent at key positions (OL, edge, cornerback) either don’t hit the market or are totally overpriced if they are available. Which is why we need to actually draft these players. This why going defensive tackle year after year is devastating this franchise. There’s also the fact that we need to overpay free agents to want to come here...we’re the Jets after all. Hopefully Joe Douglas has a plan to find diamonds in the rough because I think we’re going to pass/lose out on big names.

I just hope we don't decide to overpay someone who isn't worth overpaying for. I'm OK with overpaying the top guy on the market because he's a really good player. You don't want to pay the middle tier guy who gets skyrocketed to the top because of circumstance.

But with that being said. We need to grab some offensive lineman.

We need to come out of free agency with two starters on the OL. No ifs ands or buts. That allows us flexibility at 11 because of how deep the OL/WR class is.

I'd love both Conklin and Glasgow heading into the draft.

    Then draft either of Jeudy/Lamb @ 11.

This is so spot on. 2 guys in FA and you can do whatever you want at 11. OT, WR, or even trade back.
