It’s pathetic. NFL.com becomes TMZ for the first half of the year. No doubt the first few prime time games of the season will be following these offseason stories rather than rewarding good match-ups.
The only defense to that is that most prime time games end up being awful games anyway. But completely agreed about the TMZ show. Brady's loving it.
I don't see the Titans or Raiders as those types of teams. With Brady you can pencil them in for a AFC Championship nah. Chiefs are in the West. Rumor is the Colts want Rivers. Stiff competition. I still say Dallas or Cleveland make sense for Brady.
The Dalton to New England rumor is heating up but with all the quality veterans that could be available on the open market why trade for one? I'm reading that Foles could be available too he strikes me as a Patriots kind of player. New England will end up signing a couple of good veteran QBs if Brady leaves sucks.
Jets have to sign one of these QBs to backup Darnold, insurance policy. A Winston or a Mariota or a Foles or a Tannehill. Can't let this unprecedented bonanza year for QBs on the open market pass and they just stand there watching.
I had a conversation with a co-worker on Friday. This dude I respect his opinion a lot. He correctly picked the Eagles to win the Super Bowl two years ago even after Wentz went down he stuck to his guns. He watches college football, I don't. He knows what he's talking about so when he told me this I had to take notice I'm not a fan of this player. He asked me what did I tell you about Jameis Winston? I had forget so he refreshed my memory he reminded me that he told me Winston had a vision problem going back to college yes he did this was months back. He told me that Winston went to get his vision problem fixed and he mentioned something about his thumb. He told me that Winston will be GREAT wherever he goes tampa or some new team. GREAT was the word he used he told me watch he's gonne be pinpoint accurate. Food for thought.

Panthers expected to release Cam Newton. What a downgrade for them. Cam is better than Teddy Check Down. I'm not sure why they think otherwise unless he has a poor medical prognosis for the future. The money is similar. And they can't grab a fourth round pick for him? The Jags got a fourth for Foles. Weird stuff in Carolina. First they trade a guard in his prime for an old over the hill tackle. Now this.
