    Per the teams twitter page. One year deal.

    Hes one of the worst blocking TEs I’ve ever seen. Hopefully he’s gone before September.

    He’s just a temporary Plan B. I’m hearing he’ll be cut when Eric Tomlinson signs his 5 yr/$45mn contract with the Jets.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if we kept all 4 TEs. Gase loves a 2 and 3 TE set. I can also see Wesco getting a lot of snaps as a FB

    Wesco late in the year proved to be a decent FB/TE in terms of blocking. Jets will need him to fill that role.

    me thinks this is more for the passing game than blocking. think we will see multiple TE sets with at least 2 running patterns.....

    of course it depends of the OL can block at all.

    I think it’s more for special teams than anything.
    Gase rarely goes away from 1 RB 1 TE sets (11 personnel) at all, which is one of my biggest criticisms of him.
    I’d LOVE to see double TE or 2 RB. Creates a lot of mismatches and/or can be used for an extra blocker which was badly needed.

    In terms of Brown, specials will be his path to making the team again, if at all.
    He was not effective on Offense imo.

    Good ST blocker, absolutely terrible at everything else.

    The Jets still need a blocking TE, maybe Wesco can turn into something.
