True about the NJ papers but growing up in the Rockaways those papers might have well been in China. Sports Ilus. was over my budget
My dad was a driver for the daily news .. the first 12 years of my live were in harlem ... my old man would bring home copy's of the DN i would cut out action Photos of the sport Section and tape them to my bedroom wall.... the last thing he would bring home is a NJ paper.....The closest I got to sports illustrated was At the barbershop getting a cut
I lived on Beach 86th street & worked downtown & the new stands there had the NJ papers I still have them from the day after SB3
What do not understand about my post? Since I had a color TV & SB3 was aired in color & U said that U watched on a B/W TV so I figured U were between 5/10 years old when SB3 was played
I must also say IMHO by the way U responded to my post my opinion of U is one whose thinks rather silly rather then someone who thinks rather smartly
Yes Yes just a few blocks walk from my unit From there made the big move to NJ & never returned as a NY I have a top floor unit sought of like a penthouse with a view of the ocean & on clear day NYC
