I follow the game via internet radio and scoreboards. So, when Coles was injured I couldn't see how he was and never got an update. So, anyone know how Coles is?
He seemed to walk off ok, but I'm not sure. I hope he's alright, if not that could spell disaster the next 2 wks.
i was just going to post the same question. he got slammed in the side so maybe he just got the wind knocked out of him. i am waiting for the post game and will let you know if they say anything.
I heard that he stayed in the sidelines in the last minutes of play and didn't go to the locker room, which is a great sign.
He did get up and walked off the field onto the sidelines with no help, which is good. Then on SNY Post Game Live they showed everyone walking to the locker room, and Coles was with everyone walking fine. He had an expression-less look on his face, but I'm sure he is fine.
He looked fine, but that was an awful cheapshot. I can't believe Diedorf is coming off saying that it was a legal hit. He got jettisoned into Leber, and had no chance of making that tackle.
I know people are angry about this but it did look like a legal hit. Leber has the right to hit him if he has any chance of making a tackle.
No, he has no right at all to hit him in the back. If I'm not mistaken, it is classified as a "block in the back" if the blocker's head is behind the would-be tackler. And Leber was completely behind him. It was a blatant cheap shot.
ok. The way I saw it he hit him on the front and to the side. However, I only saw the play once so I can't be so sure.
to me..it looks like it was just a hip pointer..he got nailed right in the side of the hip but it is really hard to dislocate a hip in that direction..i think hell be fine.
why would someone ask him a question that is begging him to criticize the refs... just seems like they want to get him in trouble
