I didn't know the WIND could win a championship... Are you talking about the type of wind down here in Florida when a hurricane makes landfall? Is this offensive wind a category 1, 2, 3, 4 or a disaster category 5 you speak of? And did it form within the Atlantic or the Gulf of Mexico? And is it headed towards Miami, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Orlando, Ocala, Jacksonville or our capital Tallahassee?
Maybe it will miss you and hit Carolina. We should warn NCJetsfan of the offensive wind that wins championships as well.
Qbs win championships, hiding your qb may get you close if everything else breaks right. You know what to do JD, make it happen
Balance wins championships. Offense will get you there, but your defense has to be stout enough to finish off the game. The Chiefs defense stepped up the pressure and made some big plays at the end. The SanFran offense couldn't give it's defense a breather in the fourth quarter and they ran out of gas.
It felt like we were watching the Air Raid vs the Spread Option at times last night. The defenses did a wonderful job of clogging up the middle and getting to the QB and it just didn't matter because the ball was bouncing around like it was in a pinball machine. I'm not sure what we saw last night would qualify as solid football but it was definitely entertaining.
I thought the same thing. Three quarters of bad football at least. Offenses struggling to get anything going. I couldn't understand why KC waited so long to start taking shots down the field. I know protection factors in but you have to at least threaten it.
The niners clock management at the end of the first half reminded me of Bowles...and Rex. Gameplan, execution, and second half adjustments went a long way. Shannahan had a great season but ultimately he coached a terrible game in the SB. Reid out coached Shannahan.
Probably wrong thread but just watched the highlights, how did Williams get away with his right foot out of bounds as he stretched the ball past the cone for the go ahead TD? It was blatantly out of bounds imo?
IMO, it was such a close play that if it was called short of the goal line, it would've stood. If it was called as a TD, it would've stood as was the case on that play.
It wasn't about being short of the goalline, he made that ok but before he put the ball on the inside of the cone his right foot was out of bounds and as much as the whole front section it was obvious, they reviewed and said the call on the field stands touchdown but that is the part I don't get it was over the line so no TD imo?
