While the NBA tries to reduce it's schedule and make travel schedules easier on players, the NFL just does not give a shit about it for their players. They should go back and look at the quality of the product on Thursday nights and in the London games and ask themselves if it's really worth it. They expand their fandom for merchandise, but the NFL is never going to have franchises there. It just won't work. It creates too much of an advantage for a home team and disadvantage on the road when that team has to travel here.
What would make the most sense is to see which opponent does the least to raise ticket prices. No sense in giving away that extra money; if the fans won't go to Miami why would they travel to London or Mexico. Pretty much leaves the Jets out of the breakfast club.
That's a big reason why Shad Khan agreed for all those JAGS games in London..... it took 1 game's $$ off the season ticket holder. Season ticket sales went up in Jax
