So I'm watching - sort of - the Texans-Chiefs game, and when it got to 24-0 Texans I said to myself "Now the NFL is going to tell the refs to do what they can to keep this game close". Like they did with the Patriots-Falcon SB. It's now 24-21 as I write this. Granted, the refs didn't force the fumble on the kickoff return a few minutes ago, but it's "amazing" how teams can come back from such deep holes in the modern NFL. It's all about the ratings.
Common sense says game has to be "controlled", and that whenever money is involved the outcome has to be controlled also.
Refs aren't the reason I just seen with my own two eyes Patrick Mahomes drop 50+ points while throwing for 5 TD's. I'm not saying he's the next Brady, it'll take 6 rings for that but is what I am saying is that I'm glad he's not within the AFC East 2x per every season and sometimes 3 come postseason play; Mahomes is awesome and will haunt AFC West fans for a long time.
More like NFL forced Bill O'Brien to go for that fake punt at the critical juncture of the game, amirite? NFL had to rig the game, I know.
The Texans choked. 24-0. 24-0!!!!!!!! That said in a world with legalized gambling can't dismiss the possibility of it happening in other games.
the NFL is celebrating 100 years with a Packers - Chiefs super bowl, to commemorate the matchup in their very 1st Super Bowl
