This infamous list says a lot about why we are where we are.. Some of the names did surprise me though..This seems to happen annually and it might be a good place to look for reasons why we're stuck in neutral.. our Talent and Player eval evidently needs more tweaking.. Get it done JD!
Poor GMs like MM traded away good players...although I am not so sure this is so uncommon with other Teams as well We have the Worst Ownership in NFL..and they hire our GM and Coach who Manage the whole clownshow on a daily basis>>>a recipe for Failure
Cimini taking a page from Manish Mehta, making a big deal of nothing. None of those guys were difference makers and now are back ups or rotational players but somehow the Jets are missing out because they are not playing for Jets? When Marty Morningwood wins a SB this year as Lamar Jackson’s offensive coordinator I’m sure Cimini won’t bring it up that he was the OC for the Jets, because Geno Smith is a terrible QB and couldn’t even step up into the pocket under the tutelage of Marty. It’s a one sided narrative by Cimini/ Mehta
Players on that list are not good players, they are backups or rotational players benefiting from being on better teams with better coaching staffs.
what would the other side be?? I mean, the article is accurate and all of those names wore green at some point. Its not like he made up any of it.
True but none of them are really starters. Not saying they didn't contribute. But none had a very big impact on where there team is aside from the coaches.
I'm shocked a few of those names are still in the league. They may not be stars on their teams, but only the Jets seem to carry dead weight from year to year. Those guys had to contribute something or they wouldn't be on the roster. Perhaps our coaches just couldn't develop those guys?
Maybe. We have had some of the worst coaching in years. I actually wanted Mo Claiborne back, I think of all those players he is the one that is an upgrade to what we have. The rest is just depth, but obviously it's good depth. I still can't believe in Smith though.
True but from what I understand he went from getting a decent amount of snaps to basically none. And as he lost snaps the position got better. Not sure how true it is cause I don't watch KC much.
Jason Myers is the guy I wish we still had. I get it, he didn't have the same year as he did last year, but there's no guarantee any player is going to duplicate success from year to year...
Those players Cimini listed are bench players for the most part. I guess they can ride the pine. None of them are sniffing a SB this year. Chiefs have a shot, but I think the Ravens can best them
There’s literally one guy on that list I’d actively want back and that’s Claiborne. Sure Myers I guess but kicking wasn’t the make or break issue for us as much as we pretend it was. I’m having a really hard time caring about every other person listed. Coaches on the other hand...
Most likely, but the things is these guys are all in the post season which is something I'd like to think all pro players strive for. Riding the pine on a playoff team is far better than watching TV on a losing team.
