Didn’t the pats have the same easy schedule the jets did and they did not get a first round bye. That should signal the end.

The secret to the Pats success isn't a secret... Win the battle in the trenches, win the AFC East, get a 1st round bye and home field advantage in the playoffs, force teams to have to play at Foxborough. They don't need Tom Brady... watch how good the next QB they line up ends up being... smartest coach/team in football + they are the best cheaters in all of sports.

Yep similar easy schedule outside of 2 opponents, a lethargic offense and suspect QB play........but they STILL won 12 games.

As long as BB there they will be the team to beat in our division.

What was great about the game was the Titans ran it down their throats. Their vaulted defense was pummeled into submission in the 4th.

Correct. But the best Post so far has pointed out that NE is beatable and this is a copycat League.

BB is a HOF Coach but after yesterday his job got 100 time harder

The Texans and Chiefs outscored them and 2 former coaches of Miami/Texans out coached them

Like everything else in life ..win streaks come to an end

The Patriots “reign” won’t be over until both BB and Brady leave.

That said, Patriots fans better get used to the notion of losing.

I suspect the fans became accustomed to, and expect, an astronomical amount of success. When the Patriots return to the collective curve, they will be unwatchable for the fickle fan base.

Can’t wait to see more Ravens and Chiefs gear in this area. All of these millennial bandwagon fans will jump off the Patriots support train because it will no longer be cool.

I FORGOT ABOUT THIS. My rabid Jets fan friend, Vinnie, gleefully pointed it out to me; so to further demonstrate my point in a previous post . . .

Are you thinking the Jets or Dolphins? Tbh if the Dolphins get a good QB in this year's draft, I can see it being them.

  11. I think Dolphins & Jets will close gap to that of Bills.Jets are behind but not by much & Dolphins seem to be headed in the right direction, though admittedly i despise Fitzpatrick so i didnt watch a ton of their games.

Buffalo has proven time & time again that they cant beat the Pats & will fold in big moments;Even more so than the Phins & Jets.

    • Jets have been in search for our franchise QB since Joe Namath. We almost had an awesome one in Chad Pennington if not for multiple injuries to his throwing shoulder and we finally have another potential one in Sam Darnold, who behind an O-Line could become special as he matures and continues to develop. We definitely have a head start over N.E in terms of the "QB search" moving forward with Sam Darnold penciled in.

    • Buffalo Bills have been in search of another Franchise QB since dating back to Jim Kelly and even though I'm still not a believer in Josh Allen (never have been) due to his lack of consistent accuracy and questionable decision making, the Buffalo Bills may finally have one; however it's been a long time coming.

    • Miami Dolphins have searched for their Franchise QB since dating back to Dan Marino. They still don't have one and could get screwed throughout this up coming draft picking 5th due to two scenarios (Because Joe Burrow is going first overall)

    1.) Tua Tagovailoa does not
declare for the draft and returns to Alabama to finish unfinished business alongside of Nick Saban; in order to potentially win the championship and get drafted #1 overall next year (tomorrow he makes his decision next to Saban with the press conference and I'm praying he stays in school so Miami doesn't have a chance

2.) Tua Tagovailoa does declare for the NFL draft, Burrow goes #1 - and a QB needy team in search of a franchise QB makes a draft day splash and trades up ahead of Miami (@5) and steals Tua Tagovailoa right before their eyes. I'd rather Miami land Justin Herbert before getting a healthy Tua long term.

    * New England Patriots are going to struggle in search for another All-Time great NFL Quarterback once Tom Brady leaves them this off-season - in order to ride off on his white horse into the sunset with his 6 rings (Michael Jordan of the QB position) and with a team that's closer to his home of California (could be the Chargers replacing Philip Rivers) and closer to his friends and family during his farewell tour over the next 2-3 years. Last night was Brady's last game a Patriot. His home has been up for sale on the market for months now is one clue, and another is that he's refused their contract extension and has decided to test free agency: New England Patriots are now QUARTERBACKLESS.

It will not become easy for N.E to find another Franchise QB in replace of Tom Brady moving forward and they've already made 1 mistake by letting Jimmy G go and many more of QB mistakes will follow post Brady ala Jets/Namath, Bills/Kelly, Dolphins/Marino and everyone else in between. It's finally happening and N.E fans will miss Tom Brady dearly while being disgusted while watching from afar as Jimmy G leads the San Francisco 49ers as a superstar franchise quarterback.

It will become an uphill climb and a downward spiral with N.E in regards to actually being able to replace an All-Time great Tom Brady - just ask history. You can start right here in the AFC East too - with the Bills looking to replace Kelly, the Dolphins failing to move on after Marino or better yet our Jets after 1969. It will not be easy.

lol or just ask Bill Belichick himself. Ask him about the LOSER he was throughout his 4-5 years with Cleveland along with his 1st LOSING year in Buffalo with Drew Bledsoe before getting lucky/blessed with Brady because of Bledsoe getting injured by our Jets. To go even further, yes, Bill Belichick was more of a LOSER than a young Adam Gase after Bill's first 5-6 years as an NFL head coach. Yup. I said it. Because it's true. Belly is a big time career LOSER without Tom Brady and his coaching record without Brady under center is what it is; a losing one.

Last night was Brady's last game a Patriot and the Patriots are now in deep shit. And so is Belichick. He better retire the coward he is or risk being exposed as a cheating fraud once Brady gives him the big fuck you and leaves N.E while taking Belly's hoodie with him.

And N.E doesn't have an Aaron Rodgers waiting within the wings either as Green Bay once did after Favre - They are fkd when Brady leaves them in the dust.

The AFC East is wide open for 2020 no more automatic and almost guaranteed 2x loses to N.E every year for our Jets. Play our cards right and we sweep the division next year with an improved O-Line.

They did a small interview with Peter King on the UK TV broadcast yesterday evening. He was 100% certain that Brady would try to play on but said it was 50/50 that it would be with the Patriots or elsewhere. He did say that it would have to be for a team that suited Brady though, he wouldn't just play for anyone.

I can see Brady's ego wanting to prove he can be great without Bellichek (and vice versa)..... hopefully he tries... and fails miserably. :)

Pats will get a capable QB, it won't take nearly as long as the jets. The NFL will make sure of it.

Not sure i would admit the run is over but they most certainly will/have come back to the pack now.

The dynasty isn't dead until TB12 and BB are dead. People need to stop trying to be the first one to proclaim they are finished.

I've heard some speculation that the Pats have something in the kid Stidham that they drafted from Auburn. I saw some good things in the Pre-Season but nothing that blew me away. However; knowing how good the Pats are at player development, it wouldn't shock me if he turned into a competent starter.

With that Defense, all they need is slightly above average play at the QB position to be a very good team.

I think they are done too. Father Time is undefeated and finally set his sights on Brady

I actually think the opposite. I think too many people are afraid for some reason to call it like it is. If they had decent QB play the 2nd half of the season, they win the SB. But no one wants to say that

They won 11 games with Matt F'ing Cassel. I ain't buying this they are done nonsense. They were decimated on the offensive side of the ball at every position except RB.
