He's good enough for them to win a Super Bowl. I'd love it if Sam has a 4,902 yards, 30 TD, and 11 INT season.
I'd love to see Sam playing behind an OL like Dallas's & A. Cooper & their run game. Dak's stats are a product of the team around him. How well would he do on the Jets. I guarantee you when Sam is 26 years old (like Dak) & he has the pieces in place around him like Dak does, he will have stats equal if not better than Dak.
But you know that means nothing. They were playing against the easiest schedule in NFL history and a high school team could have got 6 wins against that schedule. They lost to a winless team ffs. A team every other opponent beat by 50+ points. The Jets just suck and the whole organization needs blowing up from owners to lowest intern. Darnold's a total bust, they picked the wrong guy again, and it will be a least a decade before they can hope to compete again. Same Old Jets. Did I get the degree of hyperbole right..?
Evaluating this team is tough. First half was a disaster with injuries and such. Second half the record looks good, stats improved, some good bright spots on the roster, but easy schedule, dropped a game against the worst team in the league, coaching was far from perfect. Either way, the team improved considering that going into week 9 with a 1-7 record everyone was questioning whether this team would win another game this season. Easy schedule, 3rd string QBs, resting Bills team, whatever, they won 6 instead of the 0-1 they were trending. At least it's hopefully something to build on. What matters more is talent evaluation based on those games, off-season roster moves and if those who are still around improve year to year (that includes the coach). Next year will be tougher, we'll see if they can improve enough to at least play some meaningful games in December.

Super! I know there's a sport out there that runs its playoffs based on first half of the season leaders and second half leaders but I don't remember which one. Don't think it's the NFL.
