It's amazing to me that the administrators of this site have kept this page sticked to the front page. Petrozza doesn't surprise, nor does it surprise me the brown nosing he gets on this site for keeping this classless trash on the front page. Cman and Brook should be ashamed of themselves for putting up with this. The site administrator and Jets fans generally look like classless tools for participating in this.
Take it easy Biggs. You are a great guy but Cman and I don’t pay the bills for the site. For me to take this down would have meant to resign from my mod duties. Seeing this note from you is both unfair and disappointing.
If you can't handle the responsibility that being a moderator brings with it that's on you. You're in management act like it.
What do you think my responsibility is as a mod for this thread? Board is divided in half currently. Half wants Gase gone and half wants to keep him. And the thread starter is the site owner. I think you are exaggerating Biggs. This is a message board. We don’t rule the place with a constitution. I don’t agree with this thread being stickied. But I don’t mind that it is stickied either. Why do I deserve an attack?
Just because you may or may not like the topic of a thread doesn't mean it has to be taken down. There's plenty of people that agree with the premise of this thread. If you don't like the thread, don't participate in it. As long as this is a free site, we reserve the right to leave up or take down any thread we see fit. That comes with the territory Biggs. Petro is the boss. Its our job to run this site as his representatives. If Petro says a thread stays, the thread stays. Its that simple. Also, its not open for debate in case you were wondering..
That goes both ways. The fact that this particular thread has been put up in a special section by management is a direct reflection on managements opinion. I'm not forcing you to do anything. I'm just expressing my opinion. What is your opinion on this? You seemed a little dodgy in your response.

Brook you and C are two of the most respected members of this board. You are part of management. I think this thread is a disgrace, unethical and a reflects badly on the board. I've been a member of this board for a long time. I love having football discussions and talking Jets football, film and any number of other topics. This is a thread asking Jets fans to fund a personal vindictive against the HC of the Jets and try and embarrass him publicly for the personal gain of some second rate twitter account and magazine. This isn't about Gase as HC of the NY Jets for 1 season. You can't have your nose that far up Mac's ass to attack Gase personally for a 7 and 9 season with the roster this team fielded. You want to talk X's and O's have at it. The fact that the owner of this site has gone off the rails to support this low rent crap is one thing. You and C are the guys on this board every day and represent management on a day to day basis. Now I know you can't do anything about it. Now I know you don't support it. The reason I attacked you and C Man is I respect both of you and the idea that you might support management on this kind of shocked me. I'm sorry you took it as a personal attack. My opinion is that flying banners and paying for billboards won't work this time. Chris Johnson made it plain that fan opinion and a dollar won't buy a loose joint in Central Park in July. This site is known for being hostile to Jet stupidity and as such, a thread supporting billboards shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I also think that Petro can post any thread he pleases and posters have the option to participate in that thread or not. Does this site reflect on the Jet fanbase? Not in totality. There are fans who despise Gase and want him gone by any means necessary. They see billboards as a means to an end. I think its a waste but that's MY opinion and not the opinion of anyone else. I don't require anyone else to like or dislike my opinion either and I wouldn't have offered it this time had you not asked for it. Fact is, we are all here as non-paying guests. Petro owns this site and as the owner, has final say over what gets posted. You can agree, not agree, not care. You are not required to like this thread. We are not required to close it either. If it offends you? Move on to another thread.
Honestly, this entire thing is really funny. I never thought it would result in Gase’s firing, but it’s hysterical to see that truck driving around Florham Park with a Fire Gase banner one side, and a sell the team banner on the other. These things just aren’t worth getting aggravated over, it has no impact on future coaches and nobody really gives a shit about how it impacts the Jets reputation. The team is already a joke, it ain’t gonna get much worse. With that being said, I’ll be wearing my Fire Adam Gase t shirt to opening day.
