Yeah I did advocate for trying to make a few attempts down field to keep the "D" honest if nothing else. You however took that to mean I was advocating for an aerial circus apparently. But your "whiny" comment shows how little you have to offer.
I had more confidence that the Jets would score the TD there, than I did in Ficken making the extra point.
I didn't take it that way. I explained why there is a lack of down field passing. With two reasons why. You have yet to refute either, and simply resorted to making it into a he-said argument that deflects the topic away from football. As per usual.
Mariota is a good example, but we'll have to agree to disagree on Smith. Having said that, what about Goff? There was only one regime change necessary, but that's because they hit on McVay (and it was obvious they hit on him right from the beginning, it wasn't like Goff had to spend multiple season in McVay's scheme to improve). And if anything, Goff is stalling now having spent more time in McVay's scheme (though I don't think the continuity is a bad thing, I think it has more to do with Gurley's health).
Do teams throw down field in bad conditions ever? Most do. For the reasons I stated. Apparently Gase is smarter than they are. Are you really saying that they should not even attempt any long passes just because it's raining?
The bills sat most of their starters this game, the jets have been sitting most of their starters all season
