Getting a point doesn’t change for me that this may be the most disappointing loss of the season. This is a Ducks team that got dominated by a terrible Devils team the other night but comes in and puts 5 up on us.
We got the point but yep pretty yucky loss. Our team has won plenty of these games so we cant get greedy that said IMO we have been doing it all year with smoke n mirrors as Trotz is the best coach on the planet and we just do not have the horses
They're 7-6 since the no-loss-in-regulation streak ended about a month ago. That's about what the story is.
At least it’s not another OT game. this group has likely maximized its potential as constructed. I’ve been saying a trade will happen; hopefully not just wishful thinking.
They're a .500 team right now. If Lamiorello doesn't make a major move to me that will prove that he is not the guy. Unfortunately I don't think he's going anywhere unless he wants it, but I am completely underwhelmed by the team he has put together.
Rinse repeat just about every dan game is a grind its tough on us to watch and it has to be draining as a player to constantly be in this grind. The team has so many players that just cannot score consistently
Back in action tonight against a bad Blackhawks team. The hapless Devils beat this team 6-1 on Monday. After two losses the Isles need a win tonight. I would bet Lehner will be in net for the Hawks and he will be pumped for this one. With our shit offense I expect this game to most likely be tied 1-1 or 2-2 midway thru the 3rd period. Nothing is ever easy for the Isles. But if they are tied midway thru the 3rd period I just hope they can get it to OT. Watching the Jackets score late in the 3rd period to give the Isles a regulation loss on Monday night was frustrating.
Yep this is the truth Trotz can only do so much, Lou wake up man and pull the trigger as this team needs help especially on offense because when the other guys score more than 3 goals we are done
It’s going to be interesting to see who is available at the deadline. We have a better chance of signing Hall then we did of trading for him, so that isn’t a missed opportunity. maybe we can jettison Eberle in a trade.
I get that these contracts that some of our guys are under are killers and I don't want a rental I want someone here preferably long term and signed but this team has zero shot at winning a cup unless a move or 2 are made.That said I also get the fact that playing in 2 arenas sucks ass and discourages people from wanting to play here
I get it that the trade deadline is still a ways off but each day that there is no improvement to this team is very discouraging it.
If Lou refuses to make a trade for whatever reason at least get Bellows up as the kid is on fire and he had a hat trick tonight,,,,,,,,,,the big club needs offense !!!!!!!
2 minutes left in the 2nd period and we cant buy a goal,,,currently on the power play hopefully we can somehow get lucky here -ps its beyond painful watching this team try and score goals
