The team, the 53 man roster that went into Baltimore on a short week outproduced the talent differential on the field in both halves. Sam in spite of some dumb correctable mistakes played well.
Agreed. But apparently Mike McCarthy, Matt Rhule or Eric Bienemy would've coached that to a one score last possession game.

he's been relegated to special teams only. 0 defensive snaps in 6 of KC's last 7 games. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LeexDa00.htm
AG is a stubborn and egotistical so no I am not surprised. I this is actually true and not BS, then he should be fired at the end of the season but probably will not be...
it’s amazing how 99% of people with a functioning brain understood that Gase was a terrible hire and not only did we hire him, we’ve assured him a job into 2020.
If that is even remotely true, then Gase must go, and if Douglas has the opportunity to make that happen and doesn't, putting his friendship above his job, then he needs to go as well.
I’m just readying myself for this team to trade Adams and Bell, but keep Gase, only to fire him midway through 2020 because they’ll still be trash.
Any time a coach loses a locker room he really has to go regardless of any sort of extraneous circumstance such of injury and depth issues. If the players turn that's it for Gase. We'll see if that's ultimately the case. We haven't seen uninspired efforts thus far but this home game might be telling.
It's hard to know what the truth is. How many other articles/reports have we read where players supposedly like him, especially Darnold? But given how they've played so far, and how Gase has coached, I've been very skeptical of those reports. I tend towards believing this report is closer to the truth. That said, maybe that's because I WANT to believe it. But if it IS true, Gase really does have to go at the season's end (or if they lose badly enough against the Steelers, maybe even after that game). I'm not going to root for them to lose, but if they do, I hope his firing happens sooner, rather than later.
I like the way he slowly rotated the Jets facility into view just enough to make his point loud and indeed very fucking clear indeed. If he was meeting Adams then I guess Gase will be having a shouting match with him later on as it would suggest Reed was doing Adam's dirty work for him.
6 wins for a Gase team that shouldn't have been able to win 1-3 games due a shit O-Line and injuries everywhere. I'll tell you what. Beat Buffalo in order to end the season 7-9 and Gase led Jets team just IMPROVED when in comparison to previous season(s). Finish strong and we'll have momentum heading into 2020.
If they go 7-9 with no o-line and your franchise QB missing the first part of the season with mono...have to agree, decent job by Gase this season.
