Fjay and company ----something to keep an eye on is if you look at the actual radar right now the moisture is way farther West than was depicted on the models at this time so is that meaningful ? Possibly. Also watches and advisories are going up in many areas as I type ,,,hmmmmm. Still not a huge storm but it might have a surprise or 2 in store for us lets see how this plays out--thoughts
2 am and some big flakes are falling and my deck is a slushy mess. The big question is will this keep up as it appears it might and will the kids have a delay ? PS It appears that the NYC might have even switched over to snow but I am not sure if what the radar is showing is actually snow in Manhattan ?
Snow coming down nicely right now and everything including the streets are now white = I expect the kids will be dancing in the streets as I expect 2 hour delays for school,

End of the week looks cold and then a week from today looks REAL interesting---> many models are showing a fairly big storm for next Sunday. Lots of time for this to all change but ITS THERE

The fear with todays storm has never been SNOW as I would take 3 inches of snow , the fear is freezing rain and sleet and ICE and it is still on the table for many of us. Lets see what the models and radar say this morning but I have been worried about ICE and still am. Thoughts everyone ? Fjay ? I will be starting up my generator this morning for giggles
Yea, it’s going to be sloppy , maybe better snow numbers due to the start time. Coming in late tonight should have colder temps, change over mid morning maybe then back to snow as it leaves. I could see a 3” with smaller ice numbers for north jersey, nyc. Thinking school closures for most of us. 2 before Xmas isn’t good though. Definitely feel like it’s going to be more snow than ice. Gut feeling
