Based on strictly resume I have to think that we *finally* have a brain in the front office. So that goes a long way in fighting the curse. I just don't really think three playoff appearances by 2030 is too much to ask for.
I've worked more hours at my job close to 70 this week alone than the players the Jets are paying millions to to 'rehab' while on IR. I feel confident saying that. No I don't do athletic stuff no I don't make anywhere near what these guys make but hey work is work and time is time.
It's just a coincidence that many of the players on IR for the Jets this season just happen to be players that just signed big money extensions. What unlucky fellows the brothers Johnson are.
Right, older players tend to play more and are more susceptible to injury. In this case though, they needed a roster spot. With 3 games left and griffin’s looking like he wasn’t going to be ready for any of them this was an easy call. I know this is a logical explanation and you probably will have a hard time understanding it but try as hard as you can. Get someone else to read it to you and diagram it out with stick figures or something. Just please don’t come back with another IQ lowering post.
In a vacuum you would be right. If looking at the big picture multiple Jets players that recently received a payday then went on IR soon after, a season where the Jets cut another high priced player because they felt he could play through a 'injury' but he refused to do so I think it's fair to wonder if something else is going on here.
