Opening line is +14.5 and it'll likely go up. At least Gase has the shock the world messaging on his side.
Definitely, but I don’t think the Chiefs are a sound football team. They played really sloppy, I believe they had over 140 penalty yards. If Baltimore gets home field then forget about it, it’ll be Baltimore. I hope NE gets bumped out the one seed as has to face Tennessee in the first round, I can see that being a nightmare matchup.
The Titans will most likely have to win their division to get in. The two games against the Texans are huge. NE will be the #2 seed as I don't see them catching Baltimore but they won't have to play WC weekend. That weekend will be the South winner Texans/Titans and the Chiefs hosting the Bills/Steelers respectively.
Kyron Brown to IR, Up to 18 now WR Jeff Smith to the 53. Griffin, Demaryius Thomas, Powell, Edoga, Quinnen Williams, Jamal Adams, Poole, Arthur Maulet all would not practice if the Jets were practicing today. Thomas has a knee/hamstring. Powell is sick with the ankle Bell is almost 100% he had the flu. What a mess.
Not likely. Gase stands perfectly still all game with his hat over his eyes and playcalling sheet over his face never directly speaking to anyone. He wont fall for anyone's juke
Easily. With any luck, this game will be embarrassing enough to get Johnson to see the light and rethink his misplaced belief in Gase. Regardless, though, this is going to be an ugly game.
When a huge underdog like the Jets pulls off a win, usually there's a player or two who has a breakout game no one saw coming. Which Jet player(s) could have a break out game that helps steal a win? Defense: I'll go with Quinnen on the D Line and Bless Austin. Quinnen will have his break out game containing Lamar up the middle, and Bless will have a 2 pick game with the last pick sealing the win. Offense: Le'Veon Bell has his breakout game. Le'veon came from Pitt and played the Ravens 2 or 3 times a year his entire career. Plus Le'Veon just went public claiming his whoahs are due to Gase badly under-using him. Bell could get 30+ touches and control the game. The other gem could be Anderson on his deep crossing routs. If Bell established himself, then play action will have Anderson wide open for 200 yards. On a historic side note, back when the Ravens had the top defense ever led by Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, they played the Jets (in Baltimore) late in the season. The Ravens defense was beyond dominant and the Jets were close to winless (another really bad season). Jets went to a 5-wide offense the whole game and NEARLY pulled out a shocking win. A late Ray Lewis INT sealed the deal. The Jets were the only team that year that put it to the Ravens D. Jets racked up over 400 yards of offense and ruined Baltimore's claim to the best defense ever (that claim stayed with the 85 Bears). A month later, the NY Giants studied our success and employed the same 5-wide in the SB (and got killed!).
Doubt that. Baltimore is the best team in the AFC, if getting embarrassed by Cincinnati doesn't do the trick then the Ravens could beat the Jets 100-0 and it won't matter.
1) NY Jets 2) Baltimore Ravens (after Thursday night) 3) NE 4) KC You have to put the Jets ahead of the team they just beat!
I just hope that Darnold doesn't get injured in that game or so banged up he can't play or is hobbled in the Buffalo game.
