Sunday ---precip starts early , Im talking Sunday morning in many locations. Depending on where you are some will see rain other sleet others snow, it will be a smorgasbord most of Sunday. Sunday nite into Monday the storm redevelops and cold air should be pulled in and most people should see snow. Everyone from central Jersey northward is still in the game on this as the models have shown many different scenarios. Thats all I got ,,,,,,for now
Got up 5 am,,,,,,took the kid to the airport,,,,,as I am parking the car we get a notification on the phone FLIGHT CANCELLED-----> friends daughter driving back to Buffalo ( why I do not know bad idea ) drove for 3 hours and is currently on the side of the road as highway is a sheet of ice cars all over the road in distress,,,,,,,I will post weather in a bit as I have not looked at a thing yet,,,,,,,,,Fjay u got anything besides a xmas tree and fatigue ?

Big bro Checked weather.com and accuweather.com Both are showing Madison as 1-3 inch by Monday night. That means no snow day for my kids. They are like an angry mob at the moment. Please tell me they are wrong and Madison will get 6-8 inches.
Been running all morning tightening up some loose ends. Had some ice fall about an hour ago. Trees up. Going to watch the game until it starts to snow and the phone rings. System may be a little weaker/warmer than yesterday numbers. Good stretch of rain/ice tonight maybe? @Brook! the timing is more important than the amounts. Tell the kids to keep the faith. Drove out to Newton area today to grab a christmas tree with the wife and her parents and on the way home there was some serious icy rain coming down. So many cars were spun out on Rt 80.

Started snowing about an hour ago. Mixing now. Roads are staying clear though. Remember this isn’t the main event, that said I don’t think the double digits are going to happen.
Brook today IS NOT what everyone is watching, as whatever we get today and tonight is gravy, the thing everyone is watching is this storm is supposed to redevelop over night off the coast. Im not sure if you are getting rain or ice right now but IMO once this storm does redevelop it will have a lot of cold air to deal with so most of us turn to snow might not be until the morning . There should be some nice snow bands that will be associated with the storms redevelopment but no one NOT even the Jayster know where those bands will setup until as I said this LOW PRESSURE redevelops and even then we will need to just watch the radar and see where that is happening.Tell the boys hang in there = believe me I KNOW as my son is haunting me lol
We got the call an hour ago = 2 hour delay for school I dont know about you Fjay but I expect my schools to be closed time will tell. BTW tonights Euro was EAST and I think we are all still in the game until we see what is actually happening tomorrow ,,,thoughts
Here in NYC it's just rain rain rain. All day today and that's the forecast for most of tomorrow as well.
SZP, the forecasts are ALL meaningless until the system redevelops off of our coast. I expect it to snow in many areas tomorrow and some of the guidance has it possibly snowing for 30 hours from right now. It might be rain but it depends on the systems development and track. I would not be shocked to see snow in central park , or anywhere else. lets see how this plays out
School closed already up here. It has been wild. Ice to snow to ice. Hyde park has about 3” of snow and a nice layer of ice too. Had white conditions for a little bit around 630. Roads are terrible. Sand isn’t helping
Have you looked the these model runs ? So hard to figure out if any of them are onto something , just crazy
Got nothing over here in the Jersey City area and the commute from Bergen County to JC this morning was smooth sailing. Saw one car spun out in a ditch on the NJTP. Forecast says snow later today around 1? But I have no idea.
Snow later yes maybe before 1 and some areas could get hit hard depending or where the heavier bands set up and yes THEY WILL set up. IMO the 3's being forecasted are low time will tell

Schools are closed today in Madison, Chatham, Florham Park. And accuweather estimates 6-10. You and @FJF are now legends for my boys.
