good points, but it was brought up, so why not? but id like to keep winning this year, its way more fun and i want this team to build a winning culture
This team reminds me of the Mets. A few very talented players but little depth. Then a slow start followed by a hot streak to make things interesting. But not good enough to have a real shot at the playoffs.
youre right, playoffs are done, we have too many losses to AFC teams that are in the hunt lost to the browns, and Jags, also we are 0-4 in the division currently so no shot at the playoffs
Imagine if they didn't lose to both Cleveland and Buffalo. Plus Sam getting mono. This might be an entirely different team at this point.
It's hard to look a year ahead. Look at this season. NO ONE wanted any part of Mahomes and the KC Chief. Now? Teams are penciling a 'W' against them. And at the start of this season, it was Lamar 3-completions-in-playoff-game Jackson lol lol lol. But 12 games in and NO ONE wants any part of Lamar. Next season it could be NO ONE wants any part of Sam and the NY Jets.
One could also say that due to the great offseason Joe Douglas has fixing our OL, adding another starting CB, another big target for Sam, and another edge rusher, and with Mosley back, our D picks up where it left off and our offense clicks on all cylinders from day one.
I guess u need some lesson in math. Right now BFLO has a 3 game lead on us for a PO spot plus they beat of once so for to hop over them would mean a complete collapse by BFLO & a win out by us
Our defense will be back where it left off if Williams is still coaching them. The offense will click on all cylinder from day one due to the fact that we will be running the same system two years in a row. It took the offense 7-8 games to gel in the new system this year. Next year it will be all go from day one. No more learning on the fly.
It was so refreshing to see the Jets finish the game and keep the pressure on. How many times have they deflated and lost in the waning minutes say, week 1 against the Bills.
