Well deserved. Only the the 6th player since 2000 to log 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and a TD in a game.
The highs and lows of Jets fans. Let's see him continue to impact the game as he did on Sunday and we'll talk. He was impressive and instinctual. Don't forget that he preceded the Giants game with likely his worst game as a Jet vs. The Dolphins.
I'd hope so - Dude played that game like Forrest Whitaker's character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, after they ruined his car.
yup eveyrone here was saying safety isn't an important position but look how adams won us that game with huge impact plays and look at what fitz is doing in pitt
Congrats to Jamal for living up to Draft pick Interesting correlation between the gossip about his being traded, terrible Miami performance and sudden uptick against Giants..hmm
No one said it's not important. They said it's not as important as other positions and the value that can be had for him will be more helpful in rebuilding this team than having him at $18 million a year will be. Interesting that the supporters weren't exactly singing his praises after his awful game vs. Miami. Fitzpatrick has been far better in Pittsburgh than Adams has been here this year. Let's see what he does the rest of the year before he gets the gold jacket.
They haven't disappeared, they just know it's pointless to argue with those who believe a player is great just because he makes some plays against bad teams. Where was Jamal in all the Jet's losses? Did he make a difference? He a safety, not a corner, so don't see any comparison with Revis. Ron
Except they did. they said safeties don't have an impact like an edge rusher. yet what is an edge rusher gonna do for an impact? get sacks and FFs. adams had 2 each of those and 1 for a TD.
even aaron donald can't make an impact every game and he's considered the best defensive player in the NFL. Khalil mack hasn't been amking much of an impact either and he's the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. also FYI adams lasy year had a 33/33/33% split between playing in the box as a LBer, deep as a safety, and coverage as a corner. he does it all
"let's see him to continue" Lol he was rated as a top 5 defensive rookie during his rookie season. He made the pro bowl last year as only a 2nd year player and well on his way to another pro bowl and an All Pro as a 3rd year player. Did I forget to mention every NFL expert who studies the game considered him one of if not the best safety in today's game. lol I see we have a bunch of geniuses on this forum lol But yea let's see him continue as if you all have not watched football past 3 seasons Lol
I never said that. I know Lott, Taylor, Reed, to name a few could make game influencing plays. Im just hoping that we will soon be in agreeance that his name deserves to be mentioned along with those guys.
And how many nfl experts thought Trubisky was better than Jackson and Watson? What's an Nfl expert? A paid guesser.
