I saw the news that Jeff Bezos is interested in buying an NFL team. I hope he buys the New York Jets! Why can't the jets play like the Niners or seahawks?
Actually the 49ers give me hope that it can be turned around. After years of failure Jed York realised he couldn’t continue to run the team and went out and got football professionals to do it. It’s taken some time but they hired great people, drafted well and here we are. The only problem is that I don’t think the Johnsons have the brains or self awareness to make that kind of change. They still think they are smarter than everyone else by having the GM and the HC report both report to the owner. We can but hope that they’re as tired of losing as we are and realise they have step back and let real football people run this team
Short answer: One day. Perhaps after the Jets finally get a stadium of their own. Better question: Will we live long enough to see it?
I doubt it. When the day comes that MetLife needs to be replaced they will just build another stadium next to MetLife for both teams. Just like they did when MetLife was being built when Giants Stadium was still in use.
He might not have the speed of Jeudy or Ruggs, but he does have speed. He's one of the best at contested catches. Anyway, I made that post in jest.
