We still have the other worst teams in the league on the schedule. Giants, Redskins, Bengals, and Phins again. With that lineup still to go, the Jets have plenty of opportunities to sink even lower this season. I’d say getting humiliated by our crosstown rival while their rookie QB lights us up could be rock bottom. Or giving another potentially winless team (Bengals) their first win of the season could be rock bottom. Or giving the Phins their only 2 wins of the season, etc. Give this team the opportunity, they’ll take it.

I don't think we will add much on defens ein the offseason. probably on a CB or 2 but i expect the D to start looking really good next year
Not sure why. We still have a hole at QB and no elite edge rusher and I don't expect it to be fixed in 1 offseason either. But we have a solid base. mosely will be back as will hewitt and cashman and if they stay healthy that's a big boost espicially mosely to the D. phillips and foley are both looking like beasts. Q will be healthy and have a full offseason by then and a year under his belt. anderson will still be here and mclendon is a great veteran example and a solid player. we have one of the bets pair of safeties too. out D is pretty good. injuries have killed it though
