We were saying it back in the spring when he was hired. The fact that he didn’t do anything to address it indicts him right there

The Jets have much more talent. They have Bell, Danold,Herndon,Crowder,Adams Maye, Harris all playing. The fins have who, Parker at wide out, Taco they claimed off waivers, Everyone else is on IR or they traded them

Rex AT LEAST had his fingerprints on the offense. He knew what kinda of offense he wanted, and his vision was carried out by his OC, which is the way it is supposed to be.

Rex knew what kind of offense would compliment his defensive philosophy. With that vision, came success, until the talent and GM decisions completely fell off the cliff.

When the offense failed, he took the blame, he didn't point the finger. Your comparison isn't true to form, and the only similarity is that Rex was clearly more active with the defense than offense. Considering that was his forte, but he still made a point to attend offensive meetings, to go over the game plan with the OC and staff, etc..

Gase clearly doesn't do any of that. He clearly is a disgrace to coaching, and I don't accept your argument at all when it comes to, Rex.

The Dolphins had a fire sale, they literally got rid of all their best players for future draft capital. Including their best players at OL, CB, RB, WR.

We don't have a worse roster than the Dolphins. Not even close.

Wow ..all Gase has to do is go 1-15 and he's probably guaranteed a two year extension!

The Owners obviously enjoy inflicting pain on the Fanbase

This ownership cares not one iota about the fan base and never have. They sealed that when they let the West Side Stadium go down the toilet. They Just. Don’t. Care.

If that's true, then this team is going to suck this badly for the next 2 years....or however long it takes for this team's owner to give a shit about winning and retaining fans.

As I said in a different post, at this point there is absolutely nothing that would suggest that the Gase/Jets thing is ever going to work. There is absolutely nothing we have seen that supports Gase as being some offensive guru, competent HC, or even a competent OC for that matter. Anyone with eyes and a brain has to be able to see that he has to go. There is absolutely ZERO chance of straightening this mess up until he is gone. This team will continue to be absolute dog shit until that happens.

This team has played exactly 1 decent game since Gase has been here....and even that one was more about Dallas playing really poorly than it was the Jets playing well. (The Buffalo game was predominantly defensive points, the O didn't really do shit)

    Dolphin fan here...

I don't know what possessed you guys in NY to hire Gase... but let me tell you. All of Dolphin fandom gave out a huge "LMAO" when you guys hired him. We think he's terrible. Speaking strictly as a Dolphin fan, I hope you never fire him. That's what we think of him.

In all fairness, Dolphins fans were saying that in January. Along with Jets fans. But Johnson's gonna do what Johnson's gonna do...

Other than Rex bragging about never attending a single offensive team mtg, you're spot on.

Gase has a 4 year contract and barring a miracle will not be fired. I know he is the face of the coaches. IMO Defense gets a pass due Mosley and every LB in the book being injured, Tru being the worst CB on the field, etc.
Special Teams might have found a Kicker, and it wasnt their fault that they lost 2 Pro Bowlers on their side. Offense had big injuries not going to mention them... But the OLINE... We claimed we had improved and had depth after signing Kalil, and Lewis. This O-line coach Rick Dennison was supposed to be great. He left the Bengals and was part of the Cowboys Oline success... This has to be the worst oline in recent memory, and we had bad Olines ( Wayne Hunter). Guys totally missing pass rushers. I'm not talking about no name pass rushers, I'm talking abt missing Myles Garrett .

If Gase is not fired, then atleast the Oline coach has to go. There is no excuse for the Oline to be so bad. None.

I saw a cooking show once where Julia Childs was given a jar of Jiffy peanut butter, a can of white lard, and a box of Triscuit crackers. She had 40 minutes to create a 5 course Thanksgiving dinner.

Oh wait, that was the Jets' O-line coach. NM.

Peyton Manning called Christopher Johnson directly and sang Gases' praises, talked his buddy Adam up to be a god. That's why we have this coach.. Very similar to the "coaching search" led by Casserly and Wolf that led to the hiring of Todd Bowles.

The owners of this team are simply moronic and will take the word of anybody toted "respectable" in the field, albeit never thinking of any ULTERIOR MOTIVE that these "consultants" may have.. Who wouldn't help their buddy out to get a job given such a chance?

And its going to be the same cycle, year after year, until these clowns are gone, or at the very least until they become minimally involved in the decision making for this franchise. They gave Gase complete control of the franchise before coaching a SINGLE game. He hired the GM, Douglas and now they are tied at the hip. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

It has become beyond embarrassing to be a fan of this team, and it is 100% ON THE JOHNSONS

Rex's forte was D, and he immediately elevated our D to best in league, which carried the team to a couple playoffs wins his first year.

Gase's forte is O, and he immediately reduced our O to worst in league, en route to ruining the most valuable asset on our roster.
And oh yeah, we're in last place and the players are on the verge of completely quitting.

    Gase has nothing.
No results in his 'expertise', no leadership, no team vision, no self accountability, doesn't inspire players, etc..

    Gase couldn't carry Rex's snack.
