Source: http://theredzone.org/Blog-Description/EntryId/79080/Jets-promote-RB-Josh-Adams-to-active-roster The New York Jets have promoted running back Josh Adams from the practice squad to the 53-man roster according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. It was initially assumed that Adams' promotion was an ominous sign for start Le'Veon Bell's health but Schefter reports that the move was made because another team — perhaps the AFC East divisional foe Dolphins who just lost Mark Walton for the next four games — wanted to sign him. Adams, an undrafted free agent from Notre Dame, actually led the Philadelphia Eagles in rushing in 2018 with 511 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games but couldn't find a home on a NFL roster this season. As for Bell, who underwent a surprise MRI on his knee Monday that even his head coach was unaware of, word is that he is dealing with an injury that is "not something significant" and should suit up for Week 10 against the New York Giants. But the Jets have not yet released the results of the MRI. If he does need to miss any time, the Jets now have the 23-year-old Adams available as well as veterans Ty Montgomery and Bilal Powell.
So after Douglas decides to keep Adams and Bell at the deadline, Adams loses his mind and Bell gets hurt. Interesting...
Yeah I actually didn't read the OP. I'd heard earlier today the Jets had signed Adams most likely in response to Bell being hurt. Then I saw the news posted here and commented. The article in the OP came out after the one I read.
Does Gase just lock himself in his office? I'm starting to be confused about all of this mystery injury shit.
Have no idea whats going on but never saw this crap under any other regime with atlantic health. The training/medical staff has not changed. The coach & gm have
precautionary. NFL players aren't regular people. their bodies are a commodity teams need to know about. lots of players get just in case scans if they tweak somehting. the results of the MRI are negative. he's fine in football terms. it's week 9 nobody is 100%
also in the post "word is that he is dealing with an injury that is "not something significant" and should suit up for Week 10 against the New York Giants." it's normal for star players a little banged up mid season to take a maintenance day
I know I can’t be the only one who thinks leveon bell hits the hole slower than my grandmother. I think if we put montgomery in there we would have a better chance honestly. I know he’s “patient” but “patience” behind this o line gets you no where. Hit the god damn hole fast and break thru to the next level
They arent creating any holes....they are the worst O line we have had in over a decade..Remember the days of Nick Mangold,D Brick,Slauson etc...we had a good o line for years and we havent recovered since those guys retired
I think he s a solid RB and could be a bruiser we need. He had a good game last year vs the Giants. Hope he shines
