No. Jamal is a diva immature millenial. Granted, he is talented and has been a team player outside of the locker room. But who really knows what goes on behind closed doors? After the debacles of the Mac and Idzig regimes, Douglas must be given a chance to turn things around by adding talent and removing players who don't fit the culture that the organization is trying to build.
If JD is actually good at his job as GM, even reporting to CJ, when it does happen the fans, or Gase, will never see it coming.
Just like how Chris Johnson was the only person that could fire Mac when everybody knows that Gase was chirping in his ear? If JD puts any effort in making a case to fire Gase, then Gase will be gone at years end.
The Jets are a crap organisation...been that way for years. I don't get why trade talks were out there for public consumption? Who fucking does that? And if it was leaked by the team(s) we were talking to... then that's fucked up and should be looked into by the league. If it was leaked by us then they need to fire the people responsible. I get the impression there's a ton of dead weight in our front office...drain the swamp. It's time to change the culture of the NY Jets. Snazzy new uniforms ain't gonna do it.
I've seen similar things in the sports pages in other areas of the country where I've lived, and on the internet now about other teams. It isn't just the Jets. The NFL probably likes it as it keeps them the center of attention and keeps fans focused on the league. Fans want the info, reporters look for scoops/clicks, and they find or develop moles. Some of the time, I think the leaks are players who are trying to manipulate a certain outcome. The culture of the Jets is another story. It definitely needs to be nuked and rebuilt.
Yeah, that is ridiculous when you read it LOL How you have a HOF Running Back and only hand him the ball 12 times is fuckin beyond me. Especially when the passing game was clearly struggling with turnovers.
As bad as the OL is in pas pro they are even worse at run blocking.Bell isnt the kind of back to hit the hole/edge hard enough to compensate for te lack of a push ala young LT
it wasn't even 12 lol. he only had 8 carries and 3 catches for 11 total touches. I mean i get the o-line is trash so we can't run him 30 times a game, but no reason to not chuck him 10 balls and use the short passing as a run game to make up for it. same way NO does with kamara. we need to get bell more involved. he's clearly our most talented skill position player on offense by a long shot. Really we should be using him like the pats use julian edlemen. no LBer can cover bell. if they try to bring up the safeties to stop it, we can hit robby deep. just seems gase has no imgination.
We can’t hit Robbie deep because the line can’t stop a 4 man rush. Gase needs to get bell out in the screen game to slow down the rush a little
best way to slow down a rush is with a quick passing game. if we dink and dunk to bell short they will have to stop pinning their ears back to defend it as well as bring up safeties to help. then you go over the top to robby. it's all about 1 play setting up another. We also need to move the pocket more and call more bootlegs to help negate the rush as well
There’s a difference between dinking and dunking and a well run screen? Screens slow down the rush very effectively and give you something to build on.
How else is this sad sack organization going to get any publicity? If the Jets played in some butt fart city, you would never here a peep about them.
Listen, you're just some guy on a forum on the internet. Who do you think you are to disagree with an experienced professional, highly respected, who has been referred to as the brightest offensive mind in the universe?
