Enough with the billboards? Does Gase’s coaching and game plan doesn’t make you sick to your stomach? He's not the type who would make excuses, just take the blame, and he does need to continue working, but he needs to tell Gase to STFU, quit fucking with his mechanics, switch back to having his right leg forward when in shotgun so he has to move and set his feet. The only thing Sam is doing wrong on his own is that he is trying too hard to find a way to extend the plays long enough to make something happen, rather than just throwing the ball away on every fucking play....because there is NOTHING there every damn play.
One thing I'd like to see him do is take take off and run for 3-4 yards rather than forcing a ball into tight coverage, better off fighting to live another down.

Against Jax it was the same thing, when they ran quick one read plays he was fine but when he cycled through the defense he would make the wrong read. whoops, interception. and his mechanics. honestly, have you paid any attention to Darnold's career? his mechanics have been screwed up long before Gase came here. Don't you remember the "cow on ice" scouting report. What do you think they were talking about? You see some guy on twitter with a screenshot of his feet parallel in shotgun and honestly you think that minor change is creating these issues? dude come on
It's not the only cause of his mechanical issues, but the staggered stance was a small change that was helping him set his feet and step into throws. There was no reason to change it.
