    Well well well, per Zach Braziller - Jets announce GM Joe Douglas will meet the media on Tuesday afternoon.

    Don't get your hopes up. It will be to announce the Leo trade and give the same old cliche answers that every GM gives in a lost season.

    I'm hoping its a fire of Gase, but I doubt it

    Probably just a presser about being half way through the year and where we go from here. Gase would have been canned today if it were to happen.

    He won't be fired yet, but I really do think that if we lose against Miami, he may get canned.

    If we lose to Miami, he should absolutely be fired on the spot. Make him pay for his own way back to NJ, and his office should be cleaned out before he gets back. If not, Jets fans need to riot! We need to fill the air waves with vitriol bashing Gase and the Johnsons. We need to rent that billboard near the Meadowlands stadium and one near Jets HQ, and hire that plane to fly over one Jets Drive, and a truck with speakers to drive by blasting the Johnsons and Gase. We need to stop buying any Jets merchandise. Put our tickets up on Stub Hub, and stay away from games in droves. Failing that, the fans who go to the games should wear bags over their heads and shout chants of "Gase must go!"

    hopefully - I want a top two pick so we can either go with a new QB saviour if Darnold fails to show some progress or trade the pick for Tua or Herbert to someone for a ransom

    II'm betting that Chris told Joe "Hey! We're getting killed in the media, and the fans are screaming for me to fire the guy I just hired as HC! Get out there and say something to calm them down, or at least distract them!".

    For everyone hoping for Gase to be fired, interesting point I saw in an article (don't remember where or I'd give credit), Jets are paying Bowles, Mac, Gase and Douglas. From that point alone I can see them sticking with Gase another year until Bowles and Mac come off the books
