I wouldn't say mortgaged the future for. we traded 3 2nd rounders, where we essentially throw picks away every year anyway. Darnold has only played 17 games or so, i think we are over reacting a bit, but yeah hes played pretty bad the last 2 games, but he has also looked really good at times. I'm not saying hes a sure fire FQB but lets pump the brakes, we cant block ANYBODY which isnt helping
oops put on your hard hat......... yes u certainly right abut this referring to yesterdays visual. not sure if it pans out like that longer term. However if darnold doesn't get his feet and overall mechanics right - we can forget it. he is not experienced enough and quite frankly not accurate enough to be flinging the ball around without proper foot work. realize the OL has him in david carr territory right now but that should get better next year.
