Exactly. Kid is showing promise. We can't truly evaluate him if we don't give him decent protection. Yeah the offensive play calling sucks as well but everything starts with an OL. An above average OL carried freaking Sanchez to AFC Champ game. Darnold deserves the same. We have to give Darnold all the help we can. Anybody who judges Darnold behind this line should just wait until he has a line to protect him. Darnold will be great. I have hope.

A lot of his INTs aren’t even on the OL. The 3 today for an example are just terrible decisions and throws. Even with a good OLine, theses terrible decisions won’t change. Darnold is a problem and needs to make better decisions
Why Douglas? He came in after everything was in place, he is the only one I would keep! Give Douglas a draft before you can him.
Matthew Stafford has a similar playing style, and Jim Bob Cooter made him look pretty good. Fire Gase and his pet chihuahua and give Cooter a shot to run the offense.
First priority for Douglas is to get Gase the heck out of here. Then he can turn the attention to the plethora of holes this roster has on it. Yeah, the O-line is bad, but we're bad everywhere. It's going to take more than one good drafts before the level of this operation is raised even to the level of being simply sub-par.
Priority 1 for Douglas should be learn how to send a fucking MRI to the team doctors properly and not force a player with a torn up shoulder to play against his will.
