I suspect U never heard of the US Army slogan which for short is KISS which translate to keep it simple stupid because in my judgement it is the only way to communicate to the other posters on this board which certainly applies to u since if U had carefully read my post you would have seen the Xmas card was from TODDY not me
Screw you, Mr. Stuck Up Entitled Pants. Bailing water out of the hull of a sinking ship is perfectly respectable occupation. It's honest work! Kids today . . . !
The last time the Jets made the playoffs was the 2010 season. I graduated from undergrad in 2008. It's crazy to think that my first three years of working (2008 - fun season, but missed... 2009, 2010) were the last time the Jets made the playoffs. Since then it's been failure after failure. A high school senior right now who happens to be a Jets fan hasn't seen their team in the playoffs since they were in elementary school. Someone who's a senior in college wouldn't have seen it since they were in middle school. That's sad stuff. It's been years since I've actually felt anything other than indifference as to whether this team wins or loses. I hope that someday they'll build a team that I'll enjoy rooting for, but there's no reason to really invest myself into a perpetual loser.
I just keep wondering with this team - "When is the payoff"? When do us loyal fans get rewarded for all the misery we've had to endure? It's easy to say the Jets will suck forever but nothing in life is forever. Even the Red Sox and Cubs won after 80 something year droughts. Is there any end to the Jets being a miserable joke of a franchise? At this point, I just can't set my expectations any lower.
