If Lewis continues to play well in place of Osemele, Lewis could be the starting OG the Jets keep. He should be fairly cheap and the Jets could save $19 million with no dead money if they release both Osemele and Winters. That has to be VERY tempting. With that money, the Jets could sign another starting-caliber OG, CB and WR.
And even moreso playing Shell at LT. I trust Edoga 1,000,000 times more than I do Shell in pass protection.

i'm not defending mac, that is where you have a skewed perception. I'm calling out the stupidity on these forums. mac has nothing to do with it. the whole mac was the worst GM in history is only 1 part of it. There is also the fire gase hire mike mac, the leo is nothing but a fat useless slob, beachum is a turnstyle, shell is awful, lee is awful, an ILB isn't worth 17 mil a year, baker mayfield is a better prospect then sam and so super accurate, it's a long laundry list of horrible statements and hive mind jumping on them. maybe one day if I do it enough some people will actually be able to have thoughts of their own and express them.

My own thoughts are: 1. Edoga might be part of our OL going forward. 2. Maccagnan should've done more to address the OL. 3. It would be funny if Mike read TGG. 4. Edoga looks fat to me.

I think we look to keep Lewis and Edoga as starters and replace the entire left side this offseason. Cutting Winters and Osemele save us a lot of money.
