on the silver lining positive side, its the Monday night game and as such the only game that will be airing at once. The refs are already under a microscope after the first DREADFUL 6 weeks of officiating, i can see them holding flags unless blatant so they can say, "See? nobody gets special treatment in here in the NFL"

that was textbook perfect coverage. was playing zone, reacted to the ball, played the ball and knocked it down. never pulled on the TE or affected him in any way. That's the type of play you show in the film room on how to play coverage. not a penalty at all. On top of that it was 1st and 37 and like a 5 yard pass but nope automatic 1st down

I never really understood this "you can't touch Brady or you get a roughing the passer call" talk. Over the last 10 years he ranks 30th (QB's with minimum 40 starts) in roughing the passer calls per 100 attempts (.4 calls per 100 attempts). Guys getting RTP calls more often than him include: Fitzpatrick, Mariota, Cousins, Foles, Prescott, Newton, Ryan, Rogers, Brees, etc. So, not sure where this narrative comes from.

If the refs don’t call PI the first time, you know the cheats will appeal and get PI or holding on some unrelated area of the field after review.

That rule change was atrocious and the cheats will undoubtedly exploit it in he most critical moments to steal a game.
