Patriots have the best defense in the NFL, but they are in trouble on offense. Belechik has had 10 days prep to figure some things out, but the Jets D should give them some problems. Overall Jets can't compete yet
Yep It's Sam Darnold vs the best D in the NFL right now and G Williams DC against the GOAT QB...and scoring enough points to win but not overwhelming production The Chess Match? It's Gase vs Belichek a HOF Coach...On paper it should be all BB outcoaching the Jets but Gase has beaten NE twice! So this should be very interesting
If Mosley and Herndon are back, this really will be a nice test to see where the Jets are as a team vs. the #1 team in the NFL and the Kings of the AFC East the last 20 years. I am not afraid of the Patriots, but they are a well rounded team on offense, defense, and special teams. The Jets will need to play mistake free and make a few big plays to get the win. The closest game the Patriots played this year was Week 4 at Buffalo, surviving the game 16-10. No reason to think the Jets can't do something similar, just judging from the Week 1 match-up against the Bills. I think the Jets (+10) point spread is way too high.
Like the way they looked the other way during the Patriots - Giants game when Jones was mugging Golden Tate? The fucking NFL reviewers didn't even have the stones to call NE on it. https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2019/10/11/worst-missed-call-nfl Yet someone so much as breathes on Brady and he's giving the refs the once-over..
the few times the Jets see the redzone, they need to punch it in. Every week thats how teams lose to NE. they kick field goals instead of touchdowns and they lose NE special teams this year also seems to score every time I look, so the special teams will need to play at its best. A mistake there will be too costly
Not that anybody cares about this, but are they going to wear the black jerseys again? Is that gonna be like a "night game thing"?
Why go through all this nonsense when you can just ask the NFL who wins, since they already have the answer? Who cares if the Jets, since we all know come November and December the Jets are dead in the water, as they always are? Sorry, but buying into the hype is for suckers.
