Regarding Leo Williams:
I think it's very clear, we will not pay/extend him in next offseason (and in my opinion, he doesn't deserve it, but he will be paid 10M+ / year), so we should trade him withou any hesitation, if we have a good offer on the table. What is a good offer here? Min a 3rd round pick I'd say.
What do you think? I know we got a 2nd rounder + Kearse for Sheldon, but LW will demand a much $$$ contract.

 

I hope we can get a 2nd rounder for him probably lower end or a player trade?

lol no. idzik didn't draft sheldon. idzik had 1 draft with 12 picks and the only pick of his left in the NFL is enunwa. mac drafted sheldon. You are right about ivory though, mac got him in the final year of his contract and decker he was in year 2 of his contract. mac added marshall though and fitz. still a WR2 and a JAG RB doens't change anything i said in the post. it was still a team that mac built. those 2 players don't change that

 

Idzik drafted Sheldon Richardson. 2013 In the first round he chose Dee Milliner and Sheldon Richardson

he had two drafts technically, hired in January of 2013, fired in December of 2014

 

yup in his 1st season with the jets. it's amazing how inept the jets fan base is at judging anything. Comparing him to idzik is a joke. idzik drafted 12 players in 1 year, 11 of which were busts and got fired. jets were 4-12. Mac came in his 1st season, drafted leo who made the all rookie team in 2015 then made the pro bowl in 2016. made some moves that got us to 10-6 and won GM of the year. those 2 are night and day

"hidden production" isn't fake though. adams had "hidden production" on that 2 pt conversion attempt but it was his pressure that forced the incompletion to ice the game for the jets

I never said that. it all depends on how the draft falls. I've said several times we should target LT in the draft. there are 2 worthy of going top 10 currently. if both get drafted before us, then we have to look elsewhere. simple as that

Nah, what Adams did on the 2pt conversion is something we haven't seen Leonard Williams do in years, if ever... win a football game with his play

in fact- if Leonard Williams was any good in the middle of that defense, the jets wouldn't have to use their best cover man as a pass rusher in the middle

 

I defended him early on but unfortunately, he just hasn't done a lot to shout about for a 6 pick, he hasn't been awful either, if we got him in the 3rd we would probably be happy enough I guess lol

 

@K'OB considering one of our third rounders isn't even in the NFL anymore yes I would say so
