Ha... Especially when the Pats sign a bunch of cast off free agents and make them look like Pro Bowl starters. It's the system.
Without Brady they are ordinary. They don't sign players with drug problems and other personal stuff because they just like them. They sign them because they need them.
Switch Brady with Belichick and now we're talking. Brady throws to guys that are WIDE open, I'm talking nobody within 3-5 yards. That's coaching.
Right... then Brady goes down and is replaced by someone like Jimmy Garoppolo, who then also looks like an All Pro, posting a QB rating of well over 100. Then, he signs a huge contract with another team and looks pretty ordinary. Once again, it's the system.
Garoppolo is pretty good without the Pats staff. Players not coaches. Going back, if the Jets with Sam do well this week will we stop hammering the coaches?
Oh so “Goatboy” who shits golden nuggets & walks on water also runs perfect routes for his receivers?Thats a new one on me.Why not though? Is he able to bend steel with his teeth? Destroy his phone..no not going there..
Gase made a decision to sing both Siemian and Falk because presumably they knew his system. I guess he was right because his system sucks and so do they. We can go back and forth on the individual points and neither of us will change our mind, but I will say this: the results speak for themselves, you want to argue, argue with that reality.
Apparently Brady can coach offense, defense, special teams, scout for the draft, and cut the roster down to 53. I also heard he kisses boys on the mouth.
You are correct, the reality is as follows: Darnold Out. Siemian Out. Herndon Out. Williams Out. Mosley Out. Enunwa Out. I would say that's a reality you are having a hard time dealing with. But let's continuing discussing how bad Gase is because he didn't sign a good third string practice squad QB. Got it
I find it more shocking they didn't make a move to sign a guy like Brock Osweiler. He's familiar with Gase's system and would have been eons better than Falk.
100% I just think it's crazy they think it's okay to trot Luke Falk out there. Our OL is not good, I get it, but there were many plays yesterday that Falk held the ball for more than 2 seconds and got creamed. Yesterday's game reminds me of that Chargers game when we had McElroy playing. Dude just isn't an NFL QB
Its a great system, knowing the types players who fit the system & then correctly identifying who are the most talented players who fit your system. Jets philosophy has been to evaluate on a league wide rather than team specific perspective & MAC was on record w the philosophy of throwing system out the window, take the best athletes & let the coaches sort it out
What happens in week fourteen if there's a fumble and everyone refuses to fall on it? I guess the clock will run out, however long that takes.
We will stop hammering the coaches when the coaching improves, not because the team does well in spite of them. "Omaha!"
