What is good about this team ? If Sam WAS healthy, would they win these games? Other then a QB who we still don’t know much about yet (truth). A overpaid LB and a RB that will be run into the ground by the time is good. What is good ? Is Adams a “difference maker” ? Yes he has energy but he isn’t making “impact” plays. two years straight of “big” off seasons and the team is still worse now then pre idzik and pre mccgagnnin or how ever he spells his stupid name not even worth to google.
I found it funny when everyone couldn't wait to get rid of Teddy for our immaculate third round pick ... BC who needs 2 quarterbacks !?!
Fire Gase immediately. Put Greg Williams in as interim. Go 7-9 to look good on paper. Jump off bridge when they extend Leo and draft a DL. Get buried in a Gholston jersey...
What is good about this team? Jets P Lachlan Edwards is on a torrid pace to set record for most punts in a season, 128. The record is currently 114. Not often your punter gets an excellent opportunity to blow a record out of the water.
That 3rd round pick became Chuma Edoga....and we used our other 3rd round pick for Jachai Polite, so basically we traded away Teddy for nothing.
Well he wouldn't have been here now anyway as he was a FA this past off season, but even if he had been by some chance they'd still have been trying to find all the pieces of his knee after that hit Siemian took.
The sad thing is that we don't even have the wherewithal to do what the Dolphins are doing and actually try to get better amidst the vomit-inducing product they're putting on the field each week. At this point, they should just try to out-suck the Dolphins, get the #1 pick, and then start a bidding war among the teams trying to get ahead of the Dolphins for whoever the QB of the moment is.
Meanwhile , Teddy Bridgewater is the first Saints QB not named Drew Brees with 4 pass TD in a game since 2003.
Make no mistake, if Joe Douglas is the executive people around the league think he will become, this team & staff are getting blown up if it continues this way. I don't care what personal relationship he has with Gase, it wasn't his hire. For the sake of this franchise, let's all hope Douglas is the executive people think he is.
at this point, we may lose both games against the dolphins THIS YEAR. how's that for a halloween thought?
they may get sam permanently injured. he should sit out the year and start next year with a new line and head coach.
We didn't look like a competent offense even when he was playing in week 1. As has been mentioned before, it's not just the lack of talent of the offensive line. It's the almost pointless blocking schemes that leave rushers unblocked for almost no purpose whatsoever. We may look a little better with Darnold and Herndon back, but I still don't see us improving to a point where we aren't the last ranked offense in the league.
