For what it's worth, shame on the Jets media relations. Anyone else agree? All of the posts this week played this narrative that he was trending towards playing, not being ruled out.

You arent taking into account conditioning;Thats not the same as medical. When you get a condition like mono you lose your lungs & it takes time to get that back. Im not even sure hed make it a whole game right now even if he was cleared.Theres no way around it
This is just uninformed on so many levels.........Maybe because he is a QB, not a Mike linebacker, or maybe because he forgot more about the system than Luke Falk knows, or maybe because playing a mobile QB like Sam puts EVERYBODY back in play, extends plays, and takes pressure of literally everyone else on the offense. What's Sam, like 22? How "out of shape" do you think a 22 year old professional athlete can get in a couple of weeks. Your overthinking this dude....
I'm happy the Jets are not rushing Sam out there if the spleen is not 100%. Glad the doctors did what they had to know would be upsetting for pretty much everyone in the Jets organization and their fans. Hopefully Sam is ready to roll against Dallas. As for this week: Not sure it is worth even watching now. The team must be demoralized. Falk didn't even get 1st team reps til today. Look for an Eagles blowout win. Their offense is pretty good. Defense is solid and will look amazing against the Jets. Something like 45-13. If Sam was cleared, I would have said 31-28 Jets.
Potentially true, but Gase has reportedly been constantly asking him about that in practice to feel that situation out. I would think that Gase will game plan to try and offset that possibility.
Darnold practiced with the 1st team all week. They must have assumed he was going to be cleared. This is a disaster for this weekend. Luke Falk sucks even when he gets all the preparation, now he's going in without it

Speaking of Jets media relations, they had the nerve to post another One Jets Drive video this week. I gave it a thumbs down, the rest of us should follow suit to send them some sort of message.
