Hey Stinky a little help here if you can, I go to Tidbits often but all I can see and that I am able to post are still pictures where can I find a map like you posted showing the storm actually moving from hour 228 thru 280 ?
Actually, I linked that from the weatherunderground blog..... some serious weather nerds that know their stuff Thankfully the latest updates are no where near as bullish... just an official synopsis from Washington... may have been modified, I'm not sure.
Stinky whats the site Called is it WEATHERUNDERGROUND.COM or something else let me know or send the link so I can check it out Thanks
wunderground..... was a better site before the weather channel bought them. The hurricane blog is still run by Dr. Masters (sites founder) who used to fly in the hurricane hunters https://www.wunderground.com/cat6 https://www.wunderground.com/cat6/Post-Dorian-Atlantic-Tropical-Weather-Roundup
They cant get a grasp of this thing.... and of course 2 really good outdoor concerts planned this weekend
Stinky and others......this COULD develop quickly and be bad depending on the track ? Some overnight guidance keeps the storm off the coast of Florida and intensifying while 1 model has it hitting the Gulf,,,,this could catch people off guard if the overnight guidance is onto something
I'm predicting Tropical storm rainout for us.... 40+ mph winds and a shitton of rain..... a weekend full of outdoor concerts were planned this weekend too
Galveston is forecast to receive 10"-15" of rain this week from Tropical Storm Imelda, with Houston getting 5"-10". Flash flood warnings are out. Humberto did make a close to 180 degree turn away from the South Carolina coast, but it is now heading towards Bermuda, which has issued a hurricane watch and tropical storm warning for Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Humberto didn't cause much trouble in Bermuda, but now Hurricane Jerry could be a problem next Wednesday or Thursday.
We look to be getting some HOT weather this week,,especially Wednesday damn could it hit 90 ? then we cool down,,,,on that note back out side now
Cant believe Lorenzo the BEAST hit Cat5 last night with 160mph sustained...... NEVER before has one that far east (and north) ever done that..... Climate change? nahhhhhh I just wish he'd stall out for a bit.... for our surf, and to minimize damage for the Azores/Europe
