I don't believe the Jets have the highest paid offensive line in the league. The Jets have only 1 player making over $10 mill a year on that line - Osemale. Dallas has 4 I believe
I read last week that the jets OL is the 2nd highest paid in the NFL. Don't remember the source. Independent of the wasted $$, a bigger problem is that the jets current OL is not only terrible, but it is OLD! Three guys north of 30, and two pushing 30. As I stated, MacIdiot ignored the OL for 5 consecutive drafts, and it will now take years to rebuild.

I still think Idzik was a bit worse of the two as he had more draft picks to work with on average with the Idzik 12 now living in infamy. There were some late rounders that the Jets pretended had a shot with Macagnan. Macagnan also was better at the late round draft trades and got us some decent talent then.
Kirk Cousins. Our former gm was going to give this loser 90 million guaranteed that alone is a reason he should have been fired. One of the few joys I’ve had this season is watching Cousins play like garbage out in Minnesota after he spurned the Jets and there stuck with his contract next year. Also F Anthony Barr
When Cousins became a free agent, he had something like a 4-29 record against winning teams. True to form, that is what he does with the Vikes--beats the weak sisters and loses to the winning teams.

Have to eat crow on this. I wanted Cousins and the draft picks. I couldn't have been more wrong. Cousins looks baffled and the draft picks would have been cut this year and next year anyway.

But to be fair this is what we could have had Sam or Cousins Jaire Alexander Courtland Sutton DJ Chark Jawaan Taylor We could have had 2 young stud OTs, 2 young stud WRs, and cousins at QB. or we could have still took lamaar jackson after a trade back for more picks as a future QB
