Green Bay is rolling right now. It's still very early in the year I hope they can keep it up. They're one of the teams I feel are capable of beating NE in a big spot.
Dumb challenge. If they didn't overturn and call that egregious DPI before, they weren't going to overturn that.
Not really sure what they're thinking with this new rule about challenging PI. Both of those plays were clearly PI. If the point is to only overturn plays like the one in last year's NFC Championship game than say so; if it's to actually get calls right, then get them right, and if you blow one don't compound it by getting a second one wrong "to be fair."
Can we please get 10 more Thursday night games like this one, and not the usual crap? Minus the injuries.
the eagles DB situation is pretty bad right now with injuries. with sam back we better capitalize on that
Interesting implications of Lafleur's postgame press conference last night - it's pretty obvious that he wasn't calling all those passing plays inside the Philly 10 yard line, Rodgers was ("Why all of those passing plays at the goal line?" "That's a good question.") How long will that go on without public conflict if it doesn't work?
which is why sam being back is so important. their D is similar to ours. very stout in the front 7 but weak in the secondary. I just hope gase takes advantage of that and doens't try to run bell inside the whole game. spread out their front 7 and make their DBs cover. it just sucks that robby is our only healthy legit WR. Man i wish herndon was back for this game
I went to bed and spooned the dog in the 3rd Q. There was nothing going on. By the by, this weekend I'm a Bills fan. At least throw me a bone that the Cheats aren't going 18-0 again. Aye, God, I can already feel the chunks rising. Time for a close-up of my face: EDIT: I wasn't always a sourpuss, you know. Me in happier times:
