I'm surprised so many dislike, Sexy Rexy. Maybe he is just more in line with the type of bravado I like in an individual. IDK. I love the guy.

Ahhhhhhh Buffalo. Good catch. He did execute a 2 minute drive to win that game.
In the Colt game I'm pretty sure we were on cruise control for most of the game.
Never needed to come back in that one.

Sam actually won his first game in the pros, unlike Jones.

If Rex thinks highly of his fundamentals, Daniel Jones must have great footwork.

And he also gave us the lead against the Texans in the 4th quarter but our defense blew it with 4 or so minutes left.

In all honesty, it's way too early to judge both Sam and Jones. Jones had ONE game where he looked good, put the ball on the ground a lot and almost threw a couple INTs. He's going to have his good games and his bad ones, just like Sam did and will.

I guess we remember 2011-2014, plus his weak time in Buffalo. No doubt 2009 and 2010 were a lot of fun though!

The fact that the Pats did not complete the perfect season is disappointing. But this is not the reason for my negative comments on Eli Manning.

Had Eli Manning performed as he did on those two Super Bowls for most of his career, then, by all means, he is a HOF. But he has not.

I think the media has been reluctant to admit he has been the main problem with the Giants offense till recently.

I find it amusing that Max Kellerman did not detect the falling of the clift for Eli Manning.

Again check his stats, are they HOF stats?

His brother Peyton is a HOF QB and has actually beaten the Patriots more often.

He's just ranting to direct attention to himself and increase his ratings.

lol shit i'm agreeing with a pats fan?

but yeah eli is who he is. a mediocre QB who won 2 SBs with some luck and a couple of good throws. over his carer though he's not a HOF QB. to make it easy, if brady never won a SB, he's be a HOFer, if brees never won a SB, he'd be a HOF, if peyton manning never won a SB he'd be a HOFer, if ben never won a SB he'd be a HOFer, Rivers isn't going to win one but he will make the HOF. The only reason eli gets hyped is the 2 superbowls, which not to take anything away from is a huge feat for any player but it's a team sport. Eli is just joe flacco with 1 extra SB who has been insanely durable his entire career and nobody is putting flacco in the HOF.

Excellent point about being Joe Flacco with one extra SB. If you don't mind, I might want to steal that line from you. Besides plagiarism is the best form of flattery.

I should also add that even though I am a Patriots fan, the Jets are my 2nd favorite team. So this might make me a bit weird.

Jones didn't win. The Bucs lost. Buc's kicker missed 2 extra points and a short FG as time expired, giving the Jones a 1 point gift. That's not a 'win', that's bad luck for the other team. Sorry.

A 'win' would be Sam's 45-7 dismantling of the Lions in his first game.

I tend to remember Darnold had a pretty good first game as well.
